Did the editorialists of the New York Times and its Beantown subsidiary the Boston Globe have a little side bet as to who could fashion the viler 9/11 editorial? If so, for all the Times's earnest editorial effort to heap bile on Pres. Bush, I'm going to give the nod to the Globe. For in its editorial of this morning, the Globe made explicit what the Times only suggested: George Bush is a bigger threat to America than radical Islamic murderers.
Said the Globe of 9/11:
"In the long run, the reaction of the Bush administration may prove more harmful to the national interest than even these horrific attacks."
So let the Times ship off to Boston its bushel of Big Apples or whatever the bet was. And in odd way, our thanks, too, go to the Globe. For they have made it explicit what we've all suspected: that for them, and surely many of their colleagues in the MSM and DNC, the real evil to be confronted is not radical Islam, it's Republicans.

Boston Globe/NewsBusters Globe-takes-despicable-cake ping to Today show list.
I have no words.
Simply amazing....
Not surprising. The left has convinced itself that Bush is the real enemy.
How do you cover these papers? Do you have to pay for them and if so is that part of the newsbusters cost of doing business?
Idiots. The real danger came from the presidents before him, who took no or very little action. That's what emboldened them.
The Boston Globe is being hillariously stupid on a subject of no humor.
Many lash out in the throws of death.
To the left Bush is truly the worse enemy because they cannot see anything ndangerous in Islamic aggression. After all, those folks are just expressing cultural diversity and because they hate W then they must be upright guys and they and the left are all on the same side.
The op-ed page of the Boston Globe is available online free-of-charge. The Times's editorials and guest columns are also free. But there is a $50/year charge to access the pieces by the Times's house columnists such as Dowd and Krugman.
I resisted subscribing for over a year. It went against my grain to patronize the Times. But ultimately I decided it was worthwhile as a matter of my own journalism, and it's turned out to be a gold mine. On any day when the Today show or other MSM outlets don't provide good material, I can almost always count on Maureen, Paul & Friends for something that attracts my ire!
And the winner of this year's Johnny Jihad Award is...The Boston Globe. No wonder many of the terrorists chose Logan Airport to fly out of that morning, five years ago today. They knew what clueless folk inhabit that burg.
It's funny how people limit their own thinking. The above statement may be literally correct, in that our reaction will provoke other reactions that will cause people to die, but it misses the point of the danger we face.
But we've already established that inaction is the most harmful course of action possible. The terrorists got bolder every year, and felt they would pay no price for anything. Confronting evil is always dirty work. You can easily point the finger and say, "Look, you made a mess!" Greater problems were on the horizon, though, and it was right to take action.
President Bush could have taken no action, sang Kumbaya, and learned to play saxaphone, but al Qa'ida wasn't going to stop. Their attacks were only going to get bigger, and cause more destruction. Blaming the President for stepping in to stop it, even though he's caused a lot of damage doing it, isn't rational or logical. It's like berating a fireman for breaking down the door of a burning building to rescue the people inside.
Disgusting, over the top Bush bashing today, is really, really dumb. Hillary on TODAY Show, refused to indulge herself, even though Matt Lauer gave her every opportunity with leading, accusatory questions.
These Bash Bush editorials won't hurt Bush, and might even help Republicans in general, because most people will be offended at this day being defiled with partisan politics
Since we're the superpower they conclude we must be the bad guy.
So does this come out of your own pocket or does newsbusters cover it? Anyway thanks again for all you do!
I fully expect 'journalists' to begin firing on American troops with civilian-accessible weapons.
In America.
Out of my pocket, but I write for NewsBusters on a paid, professional basis so this is just a reasonable cost of plying my trade.
