Five years after it burst onto the scene with the grandiose attacks of September 11, the terror group is a shadow of its former self. Its chief architects, Messrs. bin Laden and Zawahiri, and their so-called consultative council are on the run; its top field commanders are decimated, and its hundreds of foot soldiers are in jail, being hounded or singing like canaries under torture, or bribery.

Michael Moore might be deeply saddened.
I can live with that.
The Liberals still have hope tho
The war on terror, lead by President Bush, while incredibly difficult, has been also incredibly successful.
Sure, there are still serious threats out there and we can't let down our guard, but we have done tremendous damage to the terrorists, those who harbore them and so far managed to foil their attacks.
That's why President Bush needs all the tools to fight terrorists and the Dems want to take those tools away from him, in the name of "civil rights of terrorists", not mentioning to us that they think that the civil rights of terrorists should NOT include allowing them to murder us. What about OUR civil rights to LIVE and our civil rights to NOT be murdered by terrorists?
They will say that Bush has created 10 new terrorists for every one we have killed or captured.
Liberalism is truly a mental disorder.
Sheesh...I wonder how long before the whole world's population are terrorists?
...just like when we prosecuted Clinton... Laughingstocks, us all. I don't mind if we are laughed at, as long as we are right. Those worried about other nations laughing--- it could be much, much worse.

Look at how much more violence there is! It's getting harder, not easier! Clearly, we need to 'reorganize' (read: retreat) and do something else.
WHOOPS! I meant to type "gap", but misspelled it.

Until bin Laden and al-Zawahiri's heads are on pikes outside the UN, I'll never be satisfied.
