New York State Primaries, this Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006
Posted on 09/10/2006 2:36:22 PM PDT by Sun
I hope conservatives will show up at the polls this Tuesday, and vote for conservatives!
A much smaller percentage vote in the primaries, as compared to the general election, so your primary vote is quite powerful.
John Spencer is the conservative candidate in the U.S. Senate race, against Senator Hillary Clinton, and is runing against Kathleen Troia "KT" McFarland, a RINO.
John Spencer has been endorsed by the NYS Conservative Party, as well as the Republican Party.
Please do your research on the various candidates applicable to you and vote.

In Democrat primaries, Eliot Spitzer is running against Tom Suozzi, and I am urging my friends who are registered Democrats to vote for Tom Suozzi, the lesser of the evils. Less votes for Spitzer, IMHO, will weaken Spitzer's campaign a bit.

Why in the world did you post this in the backroom? It won't be seen much here.

Could this be moved to News/Activism?
It seems that it's pretty important considering it involves Hillary and should get more visibility as it's coming up soon.

DO you know if there's a NY ping list? I believe there is but don't know where to go to find out that information.

Revel, I guess there was a temporary glitch in the system, because the only thing that came up was Back Room, so that's what I used.
Admin Moderator, Would you please move this to News/Activism forum?

I would imagine there probably is a NY ping list, but I don't have one.

I looked around and neverdem does have the NY ping list. I wish I could remember some of the other FReepers who I know are NYers to start spreading the word.

Thanks very much. I'll do a search on Spitzer, and maybe get some names that way.

KT Macfrarland is liberal, but not a RINO. You forget that in New York, the Goldwater Revolution never occured.

Among other things, McFarland is pro-"choice" which goes against the Republican Party platform, which is why I used RINO.
Anyway you want to look at it, though, her Republican opponent, John Spencer, is neither liberal, nor RINO, which is why the New York State Conservative Party endorsed him, and why I will vote for him in the primaries.

I am a Spencer supporter and have been since he started his campaign. I am going to vote for him tomorrow and urge others to do so. However, I have also met Macfarland and know people who work for her. She is far better than Hillary.
