I listen to Noory. I personally think he is just like Art and the only thing he is slipping into is a pile of money. Both of them have a gift of getting nutcases to talk freely. I think there is no funnier show than CtoC. I often kick myself for not thinking up the Art Bell show before Art did...and often wonder if there is room for one more show like that. I may try it, seems there is no shortage of nuts to fill the time. The subject of this thread would make a great guest.

I have to agree with you.
I've been to the Philippines, and know how much fun I managed to have on $100 a day. I can only imagine Art must live like a king.

Yes, I agree. What the diagrams showed was a sagging of the floor joists to the point that they pulled the attached wall columns inward about 4 or 5 feet at which point they buckled inward.
Regarding the planes not hitting the towers, where are the hundred plus missing airplane passengers and crew. BOY, some coverup that must be, IMAGINE, noone has even disclosed it. Come on coverup conspirator buffs, use some imagination.
Same reason the Twin Towers collapsed--fire weakening the steel that supported the structure.

My husband, who is generally conservative, has read many of these conspiracy theories and believes them. I used to try to argue with him, but there is just no moving him/them.
I'm reminded of the story about the man who was convinced he was dead. His family and friends tried to convince him that he was not dead but was in fact alive. Finally the man agreed to see a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist tried to reason with the man, who was unconvinced. Finally, the doctor asked the man if dead men bleed. The man said, "Of course dead men don't bleed." The psychiatrist then lanced the man's finger and blood came out. "Well, what do you know!" the man said. "Dead men DO bleed."
No matter what evidence you show them, it only confirms to them that their theories are true.

And here is where all this BS goes wrong. The steel doesn't NEED to melt---it just has to be WEAKENED to the point that it can no longer support the already-existing stresses of the weight of the building it supported. The WEAKENING of steel occurs at a point FAR below the melting point.
Exactly. These people have never heard of the concept of annealing, or softening a metal to allow it to be worked. In fact, it's well known that depending on the type of steel you're dealing with, the anealing temperature occurs at between 1300 and 1500 degrees, and requires extremely slow cooling, over a number of hours or even days. But even if the steel weren't properly annealed, simply heating it to those temperatures and allowing it to cool naturally would weaken the structural steel dramatically. Anyone who ever took a metal shop class in highschool should know this stuff!
