I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.

He blamed Tenet all right, and then when he talked about something that was Clinton's fault (not just bombing the terror training camps each time we found one), he talked as if nobody was actually RESPONSIBLE for that bad decision.
Actually it can be submitted much earlier, but it won't be effective before October 1. However the President can ask for a supplemental, which would go into effect as soon as passed and signed. President Bush did this to fund Iraqi Freedom, and IIRC, Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).

I'm laughing every time I see that actor playing him, because every show I've seen him on he's a buffoon.
I enjoyed it. It was very well done and the Clinton administration was right to protest this, they are looking as inept as they actually were in reality. We will have to see, at the mini-series conclusion, if they skewer the Bush administration as well.
Those training camps in Afganistan look more like the DNC Convention! At least the participants express the same hatred!
Tenet was DCI July 11, 1997 to July 11, 2004. He was Deputy DCI from June 1995 until he became Director in 1997.
