I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.
So now ABC news itself puts out its own liberal spin to counter its movie. Incredible. Now Clarke is on saying we couldn't have gotten Bin Laden because he had tanks.
I felt fine that night. I was slightly worried when asia flipped to 2000, but I figured if they didn't crash, we wouldn't crash.
I wasn't really thinking about terrorists attacking us. Of course, the government was hiding most of what they knew about terrorism so we could keep the stock market bubble going another year.
Being on one of the planes was a dramatic license -- a "To Be Continued" scene, just like the footage on the planes that started the show this evening.
The next segment will begin on January 1, 2000. The Cole didn't happen until October, 2000
Who did the photography on this stupid movie?? I got dizzy looking at shots of eyeballs, nostrils, and through every screen, curtain and fence they could find

Oh vomit! Watching Nightline ... called the miniseries "heavily fictionalized". I guess they think they have to get the "fair and balanced" portion for the Dims in. :( Maroons.

Well, it was fictionalized. But the characters were based on real people, and the film dealt with what actually occurred. That is to say, the events dramatized actually did occur.
