I love listening to Russert telling the Vice President that we wasted $300 billion in Iraq that we could have spent on homeland security. What he is saying is "Mr. Vice President, I could have spent $300 billion and had the exact same results as you and President Bush!" |

Aside from the WMD danger, bringing down Hussein was a humanitarian action......he killed his own subjects w/poison gas and inhuman torturing such as chopping off hands, putting them alive into chipping machines. And what about the CHILDREN...babies really...being thrown against walls to their deaths and husbands and children being forced to watch their wife/mothers being raped?

Most in the MSM dare not stray from the DNC talking points.
That Disney/ABC went ahead with this Path to 9/11.....shows a crack in the lockstepping of the media.
Perhaps there are those who understand the terrible terrible danger is the dems were to be in control again.

And Chris Matthews brother is a republican. This is nice but we have a VERY long way to go before the mental illness is eradicated.

Those atrocities were just talking points for the Left when they were campaigning against the sanctions being applied to Saddam. With Saddam no longer in power, all of those atrocities went right down the DBM/stalinist memory hole.

southpark did an excellent rip on the world regarding saddam's WMD's.
Basically they have GWBush go through the south park reality of Saddam and the Devil and then argue Saddam is building WMDs in heaven (with saddam even lying to god about his acually building the WMD factory in heaven) It is rather funny.

Democrats only remember their "victory" in abandoning Vietnam and Cambodia to the communists. The majority of vets know the truth and have not forgotten, no matter how much the left would like to believe their propaganda today.
Kerry and the Democrats abuse the word Swiftboating to their own peril. What they complain about is the truth being told and Democrats cannot stand that happening.

Clearly someone on the bubba team owns Clarke. The question is why?

Frankly, if Shias and Sunnis want to kill each other in Iraq, we should let them do that all day long!
Russert has been down right RUDE to the VP, and he has been all over the map trying to trip him up.
Because Afghanistan and Iraq are not the Switzerlands of the twenty-first century, all our efforts have been a failure? Bah!

Some of what he stole had reference to the Milennium bombing. They are still claiming credit for a takedown that was wholly the result of a border guard.
Nothing stops their lies.

I read somewhere that Clarke resented not being promoted when Bush2 became President. Could that be the source of his venom?
