ABC Execs Get Death Threats Over "Path To 9/11"
Unlike Mr. McMahon and his hyperventilating Democratic colleagues, I've actually watched the miniseries in question-- in its entirety -- and there is no chance that any sane observer who bothers to sit through all five hours of this riveting presentation could ever describe it as "right wing propaganda."...

"Clinton occupied the White House for 93% of the actual historical period under consideration, but his shortcomings occupy less than 70% of the miniseries running time.
In other words, by one easily quantifiable measure,The Path to 9/11" doesn't inapporpirately focus on Clinton and his failures; if anything, it concentrates disproportionately on the disappointing performance of President Bush at the very beginning of his term."
?
The Dems are going to regret this in November. As the Republicans with Lewinsky, the Democrats are overplaying their hand, looking at polls, and believing they have The People on their side. Yet I see no outrage among the average person. If anything, people are wondering what all the hubub's about, and why all the screaming is coming from the left.
Bump.
You're right. Me thinkst they protest too much.
"Bill Clinton can easily respond to any perceived cheap shot in the "The Path to 9/11" --- in fact he already has responded, while admitting he hasn't even seen the thing."
Hasn't seen it yet!! But he knows we shouldn't see it!! Springtime for Hitler anyone?
Me thinks the DEMWITTS aka DUMB DONKS protest too much!!
And by the time the movie get's off the chopping block, it'll be less than 70%
Another Michael Medved ping.

I'm really getting quite weary of 'Bush did it'!! The way see it..... BJ Clinton can't handle the truth no matter how it's told. I'm not sure they even know what the truth is. I never heard Bush protest over Michael Moore's movie about him. If it's not true, then why do the Clinton's and all their ilks have their undies in a bunch over the "Path to 9/11"?
Who in their right mind could have dreamed up a more comical and dark-humored tragedy for the Democrats?
This is dark satire at its best. And they are doing it to themselves!
For the truly lame America-haters who doggedly still maintain that any change would be better than the incumbents: think again Suckers.
Good God, we must take solace nevertheless. Disney didn't buy that underhanded clenched fist approach by the Clintonistic surrogates. Long live Disney and Mickey in particular. You know he never ran away from any fight, fair or otherwise. God Bless the current powers that be at Disney, ALL. Finally, America will see what it needs to see at such an important juncture in our common history.
Biggest mistake the dems could possibly make is what they are doing now with this TV show. The people who don't pay attention to politics will notice this and hopefully remember in November and 2008 when they see another Clinton on the ballot.
History will not be fooled.
The miniseries was produced from the beginning as sunk cost.
It was never to be aired.
ABC is holding the miniseries before it throws it away as planned.
The lack of concern of all remaining media outlets clearly tells us that they all new and are on board.
When an organization that claims freespeech and first amendment rights as their reason to exist is afraid to stand up for those rights and all other "like minded" media outlets also give deference to abject censorship attempts, the only conclusion is that all are colluding with the censor.
So as I have stated before, the mainstream media is an ad copy agency for the DNC. Nothing more. Nothing less.
now. having said that. I will sit back and watch events unfold. I expect I am right, but am willing to accept that I am wrong (which I won't be).
Having not seen the miniseries I do not know what the context is. Maybe the series is flawed and this is a political ruse to gull me into believing that which airs (which is false) is the truth. Not sure, but, I'll let you know.

I agree. It's one thing if it were just moonbat liberals trying to boycott it (for whatever reason) but when the democratic leadership in Congress try to stop it. BIG MISTAKE!
Well, we'll know in a little less than 18 hours now, won't we?
Just like Rush Limbaugh said:
"Do you remember when Richard Nixon did this? I don't know if you were paying attention long enough ago, but Richard Nixon was supposedly threatening broadcast licenses of news divisions that he didn't like, but this makes Nixon -- and there's a guy writing about this at the American Thinker today, one of our all-time favorite blogs, Nixon was a piker! He was vilified for this, but he was a piker compared to what's going on now.
How many of you people out there remember George W. Bush being referred to as a dictator? He wants to violate everybody's freedoms. He wants to violate civil rights. He wants to violate human rights. He wants to spy on you with a domestic spy program. He's been called Hitler and so forth. This miniseries, this docudrama, criticizes both sides. The irony here is the Clinton administration and the Bush administration, both sides did not react the same way. President Bush, who is labeled a near dictator, has not said a word about the program, hasn't asked for it to be killed, hasn't asked for it to be recut. Former President Clinton, who we are always told is the greatest president since FDR, did do both those things. He did call Iger last Friday, by the way. He called Iger personally before this four-page letter that Bruce Lindsey actually wrote, was mailed to Iger and Disney this week. You know, these guys are beyond description."
