Christians believe, and that includes me, that the Bible was inspired by a "living" God and written by His authors. This differs from the Koran which was written by a man who is dead and gave his opinion on what should be in it, depending on what the circumstance was in life.
If you are referring to Mohamed, from what I've read about the history of Islam, he was illiterate. His followers wrote down what he said.
