(Exerpt)
Actor Harvey Keitel, star of ABC's "The Path to 9/11", said he believes movies and TV programs detailing what happened that day are important....
...Filming the story behind the attacks "evoked in all of us...a sense of responsibility to the heroes of that day, to be as truthful as is humanly possible to honor them," (Harvey) Keitel said. "There isn't anyone from the top on down to the caterer and prop master who didn't have it in their bones to get it right."
Keitel, who lives in New York's TriBeCa neighborhood, visited Ground Zero a few days after the attacks....

Hey. What gives!?
Isn't this the same fellow who was dragged onto CNN and other TV networks in the last 36 hours in a rush to exposit doubts about the legitimacy and scholarship of this work which will air Sunday and Monday night on ABC, and which the Stalinist Clintonites have tried to castrate the Truth from the broadcast using unprecedented legal threats?

until we know what has been edited out, it hard to comment on this. but the simple fact that they did edit it - tell us alot.

The interview with Keitel was apparantly before the Clinton pressure last this week and the editing. That is key.

Ah, ok, that makes sense. So it was accurate before; now it's anybody's guess. I don't think I'll watch.
I just wish the liberals would have been half this upset over the inaccuracies in the Michael Moore "documentaries."

It's the same Harvey Keitel who Bruce Lindsey claimed, in his recent letter to ABC, was upset by the claims that scenes were false.

Yeah, I heard the same thing you did. What is going on with this guy anyway?

Yes. I though the was the one who quit, or threatened to because he didn't agree with the "truthfulness" of the script. Like that has ever bothered Hollywood before. Good grief, Disney can't even get Pocahantas right.

What undoubtedly happened was, the writer of this WashPost article, Kathy Blumenstock, wrote the article some time ago. Probably in the last two weeks, maybe one month. The story of course would not actually make it into print in this weeks'
TV Week and syndication until just now, right before the ABC aired the show.
The Keitel quote saying the program was done with a extreme dedication to TRUSH was most likely therefore issued PRE-CLINTON FUSS and CENSORSHIP.
Keitel said the show was accurate.
He since went on national TV, though, to say he had 'problems with it.'
My oh my, what an inconvenient little quote right smack in the MSM from Mr. Keitel BEFORE "the fix" was in, that probably most people missed.

good thread. Keitel even says O'neill was pretty much handcuffed in the al qaida hunt. Wasnt most of Oneills work during Clintons run and on the Cole bombing?
