The poor of all races in New Orleans died because they were hanging around waiting on their welfare checks, which were due to come in two more days.
Stupidity breeds dependency. Dependency breeds vulnerability, and being stupid doesn't help vulnerability!

I heard W raised over $600K for Talent today. Things are looking up!
On the one hand, I hope Claire gets whooped bad and goes away this time, but on the other hand, it is nice to have a Dem in the state who doesn't mind losing to a conservative every 2-4 years in any given election.

This is really disgusting, even for a Moonbat Left Democrat. But at least McCaskill has finally shown her true colors.

No, people died in NOLA because they were stupid. This was a massive Darwin Award competition. Everyone... and I mean EVERYONE... in NOLA knew what would happen when "the Big One" hit.
IN fact, hurricane Ivan gave them a dress rehersal for Katrina. While nothing much flooded, they all knew that the evacuation plan was hopeless, and that the SuperDome wasn't gonna be a workable shelter.
How many people did you see signalling for a helicopter while standing on top of a submerged car or truck? Or standing on top of a roof where they'd chopped a hole with that legendary axe in the attic?

This kind of chat only works if it does not get wider circulation. That game is tougher to play these days. The internet is a harsh mistress. Allen had the same problem. It hurt him. I hope, this hurts her.

McCaskill's spokeswoman Adrianne Marsh said her comment was referring to "what many people felt about the tragedy of the response to Katrina." "Claire believes the response was gross incompetence that turned tragic because so many people in New Orleans did not have the resources to help themselves," Marsh added.
IMHO, the incompetence was the city and state administration allowing the city to get in that shape.

If I had a tragedy and asked the people of NO to care what would I hear? ...crickets...

The stupid part of this comment is she doesn't need to play that card to carry St. Louis.
That comment can do nothing but hurt her out in the rural areas where conservative democrats are still very common in Missouri, and they don't care much for racial politics.
Claire used to sound fairly moderate in her younger days in Kansas City, but she has gone off the deep end, and sold her soul for some of that Move On money.

Did George Bush also save the 20,000 (approx.) black people rescued from rooftops?

I guess all that footage of Coast Guard helos plucking people off their rooftops didn't really happen - must have been more of Karl Rove's mind control beams making us see what he wanted us to see, just like when he made us see two planes appear to hit the World Trade Center.

This is why I do not believe polls. The Rats can't help but say stupid things. Or get in trouble in NJ. Or take away the 1st amendment. Or take the enemies side.

Let's hope that knocks her down about 3-4 points. Talent needs to have a soundclip of this to remind voters in about six weeks.
