The DNC needs a new set of legal hounds because they just broke the law. Namely the Laymen Act of 1999:
"The Lanham Act defines the statutory and common law boundaries to trademarks and service marks. Trademarks (and service marks) are words or designs used in the advertising of goods and services. Rights to use a trademark are defined by the class(es) for which the trademark is used. Therefore, it is possible for different parties to use the same trademark in different classes. The Lanham Act defines the scope of a trademark, the process by which a federal registration can be obtained from the Patent and Trademark Office for a trademark, and penalties for trademark infringement. The Legal Information Institute provides Title 15 of the US Code, which encompasses the Lanham Act."
So how? By registering the Trademarked name owned by ABC of The Path to 9/11, so that if you type direct your browser to pathto911.com, you end up at Democrats.org and a web form to complain to ABC about the movie. The absence of the "the", I don't think will buy them a pass.
OTOH, saying the Dims can't do this is to also say that other genuine protest or anti- sites may also be illegal, such as kerrysucks.com.
I think someone who is really rich should pay to have that comment and picture posted on every bill board in the USA ....
This Pavlovian response indicates a level of dysfunction and codependency that is truly disturbing.

That is what they want you to believe.
The truth is far more sinister. The Democrat party has been taken over by leftists who have been waging war against the US for about 70 years. This movie could unravel many of their lies and distortions, especially those of Bill and his jackboot thugs.
The Democrats simply cannot alllow the truth to challenge their lies.
I just sent my message using this site, with a big letter of encouragement for ABC.
I also used a throwaway email address for it that never before existed and won't ever be used anywhere else. So let's see how ethical the DNC is with people who use its site. I'm betting on a flood of spam to that address.
This attempy by the Clintons and the Democrats are a God-send to the Republicans. This one issue defines what kind of government they will offer to the public.....threats, intimidation, lies, confabulations, rewriters of history, intolerent, propagators of historical inaccuracy, completely narcissistic, ..... and it is apparent they are more concerned about the perception that the people have of them than the actual truth. This is what Republicans should seize. The dems have handed it to them on a silver platter. Melman should have the poster printers overheating now.

I found this over at Dummieland. Unbelievable...
Excerpt from an email from the DNC:
We should all be deeply concerned and disappointed that ABC would air a film that has been proven to have factual inaccuracies about one of the most important events in our nation's history. It's particularly disturbing given that the producer of the piece is a well known conservative. It's incomprehensible how something like this could even get on the air.
In a few hours, we deliver letters from over 150,000 outraged Democrats to ABC's front doorstep. You still have time to make your feelings known. Join the thousands standing up for President Clinton and our party -- tell Disney president Robert Iger to keep ABC's right-wing propaganda off our airwaves:

FYI ... before my dang computer crashing on me again
It could be that, but I doubt it, even in its unedited version.
I think what we're seeing with all the Democrat hissy-fits the past two days is a page out of Clinton's playbook -- Complain loudly and often about some impending revelation, and then when the revelation is made public and it turns out to be bad or embarrassing, but not as bad or as embarrassing as the Democrats' loud protests would have indicated, people will respond, "What's the big deal?" and move on. Their rantings are just an effort to innoculate the viewers against experiencing full-blown outrage. This whole controversy will pass with a whimper by midnight Monday.
IOW, no.
You know the Clinton playbook well, My2Cents. Go to the head of the class.
They may have pulled the ads to save some money. The Dems are providing all the publicity they need.
Their email makes me want to puke. SPIN! SPIN! SPIN! It's like 1998 all over again!
