Ky. Plane Crash Survivor Asks 'Why?'(Prayer Request)

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The sole survivor of a plane crash that killed 49 people near the Lexington airport last week told family members from his hospital bed, "Why did God do this to me?" but he hasn't mentioned the crash, a close family friend said Wednesday.

James Polehinke, who was the flight's co-pilot, can move only his head, and tears often well up in his eyes, said Antonio Cruz, Polehinke's mother's boyfriend. He said the 44-year-old has been in and out of consciousness.

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Before the Comair jet crash that killed 49 people, air traffic controllers at the Lexington airport wrote to federal officials complaining about a hostile working environment in the tower and short-staffing on the overnight shift, from letters obtained by The AP.

A control tower worker said the overnight shift, or "mid," is staffed with two people "only when convenient to management."

"Meanwhile, Comair spokeswoman Kate Marx said pilots the day of the crash were using a map that hadn't been updated since Jan. 27. The airport's taxiway was altered Aug. 20, rendering that diagram outdated"

I don't believe that lying, pretension, false-bravado belong exclusively to any group, or domain; and that members of all groups/types/etc. are guilty in some way or another of one of these improper uses of internet technology.

I still don't understand the gap between the so-called creos and evos.

There would be NO EVOLUTION if there were no CREATION in the first place.

Just because there was CREATION does not mean there can be no EVOLUTION.

IN THE BEGINNING, GOD CREATED....
Everything afterward is EVOLUTION.
It couldn't be any less complex.

Creatures evolve based on what it takes to SURVIVE. Not all are successful, it must be noted.

God CREATED the form of LIFE. The concept, the will. We are all made up of a single cell creature that has this WILL, this fantastic ability to ADAPT in order to survive.

It is an EUKARYOTE. You ARE a collection of EUKARYOTES and so is every other creature on the EARTH.

There are creatures in the ocean that live part of their life as a plant, with roots in the ocean bottom. When necessary, they 'pull up their roots' and transform into a 'snakelike' creature and swim away with the current.

PLANT or ANIMAL?????

So, the RULES of EVOLUTION or RULES of CREATION are manmade rules(theories) and do not really apply nor explain the full truth.

Even those who theorize that complex life forms evolved from simpler life forms must admit that somewhere (IN THE BEGINNING) that simpler life form had to be 'created'.

The real argument seems to be whether there was "GOD" that did the creation or whether the simpler life form "created" itself.
There would seem to be an inherent logic problem in trying to prove the second assertion, but who am I to argue?????

The tower folks weren't going to be flying the jet. Meaningless, since the pilots were the ones who made the mistakes leading up to this crash.

More lack of situational awareness by the flight crew. Only one runway was lit, they crossed it on their takeoff roll. The flight crew porked this up, no two ways about it.
