The U.S. government ordered Venezuela to close its military purchasing office in Miami after suspending arms sales to the South American country, American officials said Thursday.
The U.S. government announced in May it was banning new arms sales, accusing President Hugo Chavez's government of failing to cooperate in counterterrorism efforts - a charge strongly denied by Chavez.
Venezuela's Foreign Ministry demanded that the U.S. government uphold all pending contracts for military equipment. American officials have said the United States would honor such contracts.

Chavez has been chummy with Castro in Cuba and now the Terrorist President of Iran is getting chummy.
What are the odds of Iran seeking to exchange money for a base there to store missiles, develop nukes and to launch operations into the Americas?

Close our Embassy next. I figured they would have done that last week...
We need to sanction them as well. Most everything they buy in consumer products comes from us. It could force a civilian uprising if we do it right.

Which means we will have to invade Cuba if we find Iranian or other outside Communist troops there.
Cuba is too close to our shore.

Don't honor any contracts, don't recognize any Venezuelan property in the US, nationalize all of it and freeze their bank accounts, and oh, just as an afterthought, inform them that no ships will be leaving Venezuela loaded with oil products unless they pay slight carrying charges to the US navy. Anyone not so paying will be seize on the high seas impounded and sold at auction.

Yeah, that's about the size of it.
I'm thinkin that the boys might decide on a blockade first though.

As soon as they get this crap under control in Iraq, our private oil companies will pour billions into those fields. They will be swimming in oil, and they need to understand how good things will get for them if they get rid of these fascist wackos.

We will wait till there is a need to strike (if ever).
Cuba is under 24 hour satellite and telecommunication surveillance, so we may know more about them than they do IMO.

Exactly. It will be the Cuban Missile Crisis all over again.

Which means we will have to invade Cuba LOL. Yeah, right. You got 500,000 plus troops...and that's just for starters.
Forget the silly stuff, just mine their harbors and ravish their women.
