the problem with this video is the extreme weight that the show put on it. They commented how the timing of the video was a problem for the President who was on a fear and smear campaign during his speeches where he says that the US will continue to find the terrorists and bring them to justice. Al Qaeda puts out a video near an anniversary of 911 that shows one of the main coordinators of the attack, who CBS points out is on his way to Guantanamo, and this video is a problem for the pres? Why? B/c he is still unrelenting in his resolve to stop terrorism? Or b/c one of the main operatives of 911 is in custody? I'm confused.

Is it scary to see a bunch of masked cowards punching focus pads and working on their full nelsons? not to me. Does this video change anything? no. All it does is show some old footage of people. big deal, they have hours and hours of such footage. Is it hilarious that they release a video that shows a guy who is now in our custody? Yes it is. This video means nothing, like most of their videos. It certainly doesnt do any damage to my resolve or my Presidents.

Is Bin laden a unicorn? It appears so, but his body is going to turn up one day riddled with holes or covered in rubble, I'm not sure which, nor do I care.

They also showed a couple of cbs/nyt polls that said that 58% believed that we couldn't win the WOT w/o capturing OBL, and 48% think we can't capture him. The former is bogus, and the latter I dont give a crap about, it doesnt matter, captured or dead doesn't matter. Captured leads to dead so big deal. CBS sucks.

Thanks for the info.

So what does this video do to the "it was an inside job" yahoos? Unless they're Bush hatred has actually driven them insan you would think it ought to take the wind out of their sails a bit. Oh yeah, they are insane with hatred. Never mind.

forgot to mention why I watched it.

They have a "freespeech" series and Rush was on, I wanted to check it out. Incedentally it was quite good.

don't watch it any other time.

A recent poll showed that over 50% of the middle-east believes that 911 was either commited by the US government so they could go to war with Islam or by the Jews.

If anything, this video is a big slap in the face to these deluded morons and more proof of who was behind the attacks.

was watching to see Rush do a "freespeech" video unopposed. It was interesting to see a conservative on their speaking with such candor

I thought I would at least start watching CBS tonight to see how Katie did, but when they came out with this ridiculous spin about this video hurting Bush, I changed back to my usual Fox pundits.

It is as if they are so into their own rhetoric as to be dysfunctional. Put this together with Bashir's harangue and you just make sane Americans mad. I don't see how this could weaken us.

Could you possibly re-state that in comprehensible english?

Besides, we all know 9/11 was a neocon conspiracy:

They should watch this:

I watched as long as I could curious about whether Al-Katie would improve.

I was astounded by the report on that tape. You can feel Katie et al wanting us to lose this war. It just repelled me.

I dunno. I regard it as opposition research. I don't know if blinders about our enemies is a good tactic.
