We might has well consult Dan Rather about what would be best for the country.
I am currently reading The Hinge of Fate written by Winston Churchill. Some his commentary about the press, even at that dire time of British history, is something to behold.
Limbaugh said the other day, 'when "the good" compromises with "the evil," it is always "the good" that loses.'
Like the Islamofascists, we cannot compromise with the Left, which includes the so-called "moderates," because they have already been compromised and are willing to sell us out just as any Leftist would.
The only way the Left can win is to undermine conservatives in the Republican party and in the Republican primary. They have already lost the public argument and are desperate for power.

Thanks. While the picture of Guliani is terrible, I hadn't yet seen the summary of his political position. Unfortunately he doesn't appear to have any conservative political positions.
This is essentially a name recognition game at this point in time.
There's no way that Giuliani gets my vote in the primaries.
He'd better change on gay marriage and abortion to get it in the general election if he accidentally manages to win the primaries.
I concur.
Well - this about the 1000th version of this made up story. As irrelevent as ever.
Guns...
"We are in a civilizational struggle that involves more than just bullets and bombs."
I could not agree more.
If Giuliani wins the nomination, I'll lose a lot of weight very quickly since I'll be so sick to my stomach I won't be able to eat for a long time.
"I do think a northeast moderate (Guilani or Romney) has the best chance to ensure her defeat."
I disagree with you at least 2,000%.
Where on earth do you live? I've lived in the west my entire adult life and just the phrase "northeast moderate" almost makes me lose the contents of my stomach. And I haven't even eaten breakfast.
Are you a stealth Democrat or something? What is your reasoning? So the two to choose from would be Hitlery and Hitlery lite (m or f) with an "R" next to its name? What a freaking choice. Give me a freaking break.
GOP has no good candidates.
Romney is the only hope.
Tancredo doesn't stand a chance, so forget him.
Rudy is a flipping RINO if there ever was one.
I am amazed that anyone here would support Rudy.
George Allen is the man, whipped-up media frenzy notwithstanding...
Rudi and Romney's northeast origins are documented.
McCain, by his courtship of the northeast media, is at least as northeast and, by far, the most dangerous of the three.
Rudi would, at least, be competent on the war on terror. Romney would also and has the added bonus of bring with us on some social issues.
I'd prefer to see a good, solid conservative such as Tom Coburn or Jeff Sessions. I'd even settle for Condi Rice. Last I heard, however, none of them are running and Wall Street certainly ain't backing them.
Bush, if you will recall, was foisted on us by the Wall Street crowd. We accepted him because he was so much better than the McCain alternative. While he has done reasonably well on the war on terror, the economy and supreme court nominations, he has been an absolute flop on protecting America's borders and our first amendment rights. Unlike McCain, he is sane and stable. But like him, he craves to be loved and accepted by the same northeast media monopoly which seeks to do him in.
Just who do you think could beat Hitlery and still get the backing of Wall Street.
To tell you the truth, I think it's FUBAR. I have no clue. Therefore I am but a yapping small dog.
McCain is insane, Giuliani is not a conservative AT ALL, Rice isn't much of one either (from what I've read) and doesn't want to be POTUS anyway. Romney? From what I've read he's just too wishy washy. I agree in the main about Bush. I just think a real, fiery conservative with backbone would have a good chance of winning. I think enough people are sick of airbrushed politicians with their fingers in the air, reading the poll results before stating their positions.
Look at CA and Schwarzenegger. Has an "R" next to his name. So what.
Regarding beating Hitlery - I really don't think she's formidable. I think many people hate her guts (like me) or just have a weird, creepy feeling about her. I think she has no chance of winning at all. But if the GOP nominates a non-conservative like Giuliani, her chances improve, since a lot of conservative voters will be so digusted they'll sit it out or do a protest write in.
The GOP needs to get a clue, but they probably won't.
Guliani is a pro-abortion, gun-grabber and is totally unacceptable as is McCain.
