Foiled terrorist plots, according to the Director of National Intelligence and President Bush's speech on Wednesday:

- In 2002, officials disrupted a plot by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, to crash hijacked airplanes into targets on the U.S. West Coast.

-In mid-2004, officials discovered a plan to bomb urban targets in the United Kingdom.

-Terrorists involved in a well-advanced plot to attack targets in Karachi, Pakistan, were detained in the spring of 2003.

-A plan to use hijacked commercial airplanes to attack London's Heathrow Airport was disrupted in 2003.

-A plot to attack ships in the Persian Gulf was foiled in late 2002 and early 2003.

-One of the plotters involved in the plan to attack ships in the Gulf was also part of a foiled plot to attack ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

-After a plan to blow up tall buildings in the U.S. was disrupted, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed said he directed his operatives to attack the buildings because they were too tall for victims to jump out of, ensuring they would die by smoke inhalation.

-In early 2004, a captured al-Qaida facilitator revealed a plan to send suicide truck bombers into Camp Lemonier, a Marine Corps base in the African nation of Djibouti. This information caused security at the base to be enhanced.

- In his speech, Bush said Mohammed and a terrorist named Yazid provided vital information on al-Qaida's efforts to obtain biological weapons that allowed officials to capture two other terrorists involved in producing anthrax for al-Qaida.

I'm sure it pains Democrats to have to hear that the administration isn't as "incompetent" as they need us to believe. The galling thing is, Democrats are working overtime to undermine our ability to ferret out the kinds of plots outlined above. They same determined to set us up to fail--and for no better reason than they don't like who sits in the White House.

But the administration despite the best efforts of the Democratic seditionists has had remarkable success getting in the way of Al Qaeda plots and bringing them to naught. This is the great untold story of the Bush administration that only history will given them their due on.

Frankly if Americans appreciated the administration's efforts, Bush would have a 60% approval rating. Shame on them and their childish crankiness for not giving credit to the administration for helping to keep their sorry, ungrateful butts alive. Perhaps it is a measure of how successful the administration has been in foiling Al Qaeda plots that ignorant Americans feel they have the luxury of complacency and being lead along in the Democrats' efforts to undermine the nation and its commander in chief during a time of national danger.

What a bunch of BushCo "propaganda of fear" cr@p.

These plots aren't real, the shrub made this all up.

No way a bunch of dirty desert-dwellers could pull any of this stuff off, and if they did, who cares? It's not like any of this affects me.

Let's see, did I cover all the lib-tard excuses why this can be ignored??

I believe that there is a lot of Al Qaeda terrorist money going to democratic politicians, directly or indirectly to influence their actions. I wish our government would get the evidence they need to turn these people back again.

You missed one: "If Bush hadn't stolen the election(s) in the first place, they wouldn't have attacked us. It's all his fault."

You forgot one that I heard on the radio this morning:

"If Bush didn't have our military on Arab lands fighting his war for oil, they wouldn't be trying to attack us."

I was ROTFLMAO!!

"- In his speech, Bush said Mohammed and a terrorist named Yazid provided vital information on al-Qaida's efforts to obtain biological weapons that allowed officials to capture two other terrorists involved in producing anthrax for al-Qaida."

Anthrax ~ while Barbara Hatch Rosenberg and her gang of girl leftists were screeching and crying about Dr. Hatfill's possible involvement in the anthrax attack, the AlQaida terrorist group was already planning and plotting another attack using anthrax.

I think it's pretty clear that the FBI was wasting its time investigating Hatfill and others. It would have better spent its time arranging for "extreme rendition" on Barbara to see what her Islamo-fascist friends were planning next.

Senators Daschle and Leahy contributed to the misdirection and should not be above suspicion.
