Cindy Sheehan Writes of Wanting to Kill President Bush in New Book
Thursday, September 7, 2006 | Kristinn

Posted on 09/07/2006 7:44:49 AM PDT by kristinn

In her new book due out Sept. 19, "Peace Mom," Cindy Sheehan writes of her fantasies of killing President Bush.

Sheehan, whose son Army Spc. Casey Sheehan was killed in Iraq in April, 2004, couches her desire for the murder of the President by saying she wishes she could go back in time and kill George Bush as an infant in order to prevent the Iraq war.

Sheehan has been trying for over a year to meet with President Bush, but to no avail. She met with the President once in 2004 shortly after her son gave his life in Iraq. Since that cordial meeting, Sheehan has allied herself with anti-American leftists. Last year she called foreign terrorists in Iraq "freedom fighters," a sobriquet she has also given to the Iranian-allied Iraqi jihadists who killed her son.

Sheehan's desire to murder President Bush was first reported by RadarOnline.

...even though her mental state is fragile enough to be wary of her proximity to anyone in the administration.

So you admit she's a threat to President Bush. Thank you.

Of course she is a threat but you have accused her threatening to kill President Bush. She could sue you for slander, so good luck with that.

Killing to prevent murder is the process of Governments to protect it's citizens.

Murder by an individual to stop a future crime in most cases is a one way ticket to hell.

More confused morality by the left.

Government should always act in the best interests of it's citizens often devoid of out right morality.

As individuals it is our God given duty to always uphold HIS law.

Seems like this was one of the first laws to die under the Bush administration. It's become a blue law. You know, like spitting on the sidewalk or mowing the lawn on sunday. A shame.

She's evil. That is one vile, twisted and sick woman. However you feel about the President's policies in Iraq, to harbor the thought of wanting to murder the President of our country is crossing both a legal and moral boundary. It ought to be unthinkable to any decent person. But the likes of Jihad Cindy have made Bush-hatred so personal to their existence, no limits exist for any more. The Left will stop at nothing to tear down our country.

(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo! )

You get the feeling her hate for Bush is 100x more than the love for her own son?

She fantasizes over killing an infant? Her fantasy is to kill a helpless baby?

While I'd love to take the high road on this and say the woman is seriously mentally ill, my head tells me otherwise. She started as a flag-bearer for the anti-war, Bush-hating liberals, and she did a great job at rallying the peacenicks...for a while. She's gotten addicted to publicity and now that she finds her followers -- the press and otherwise -- dwindling, she's got to ratchet things up to keep those reporters on her tail.

This is just the latest stunt. I don't know how much more outrageous she can get, but she's going to be a growing liability to democrats as the election gets closer. Unless they find a way to silence her, they're going to have to distance themselves and risk losing their core voters.

I do find this scary. I'm sure the Secret Service are taking this seriously. They should probably be included along with prayers for the president.

When a President has any type of threat veiled or not...the secret service takes it very very seriously and is all over it....

You'll notice the growing chorus for someone, anyone, to KILL BUSH??

They have realized that Americans will no longer elect them, and I think Libs now see this as thier only hope of ever defeating him....

Her demeanor has devolved into a sort of fanatical stalker-ish type syndrome. It could also be classified as a mental illness - obsessing over one particular object or person every waking moment. It's both sad and frightening at the same time.

One wonders what is seen through the eyes and heard through the ears of Ms. Sheehan as it stands today. In a normal conversation, would each word she hears be "Bush"? And if she strolls past a balloon display in a store window, do said balloons register as smirking Bush heads to her optical sensors? Really, she has Bush-on-the-brain, and should be institutionalized for her own safety. :)
