Hatteras that is what I was thinking when I read this also. This is beginning to remind me of the Clintonista's reaction to the taped Clinton deposition. Remember how we were told that he blew his temper?
We remember the "ending", i.e., with Bush in Power and NY and DC on fire.
The inaction of Bubba after the mainland hit in 1993, the Embassy bombings, the Cole etc.. were no where to be found in the early days after 9-11.
Remember, the famous 9-11 report bashed Bush and gave Bubba a free ride.

I don't know about this now..the writers themselves say these are COMPOSITE characters...I don't like that. It either happened or it didn't. I don't like when the left does it, and I know I won't like it when the right does it. There is a book that was written by a military aid that carried the nucleur football that talks all about how distracted he was. Golfing and not taking calls from his Secretary of State....just can't remember the name of the book....THIS MAN SHOULD BE CLASSIFIED THE WORST PRESIDENT EVER. I LIVED THROUGH ALL THIS ON THE TV. ALL FOLKS HAVE TO REMEMBER IS 9/11 TOOK A LONG TIME TO PLAN...IT WASN'T ON BUSH'S WATCH.

Like eyespy, I've also heard that they hit both admins and are particularly tough on Condi. However, one had 8 years...ouch. Also, with Hillary running it isn't much wonder the Slickster etc are mad. There is also speculation that left wing elements are also pushing the show to take out Hillary...eating their own. It's an interesting theory, but I'm not sure how much credibility it has (then again, I haven't spent much time looking into it either).
Both books are scathing indictments of Slick's incompetence, and malfeasance when it comes to the military and national security from someone who was on the scene to witness it.
It's no wonder that liberal Slick 'butt-kissers' are livid about the ABC special--since they are mobilized to maniacal, feral, no-holds-barred and over-the-top actions when it comes to their cult-like defense and worship of their godlike hero and leader, Slick.
