California deserves to have a full plate of Democrats in charge! Dem Gov, Dem house, Dem senate. Let California truely become the land of fruit and nuts.

Sooooo, your saying that sb bill 1441 and 1437 are 2 different bills...In 1441,if you make disparaging remarks about gay lifestyle you have broken the law and lose any public money you have gotten..In bill 1437,if you disparage homosexuals you have broken the law and can be fined...So,both bills state you CANNOT talk against the homosexual lifestyle[including biblical passages]...Of course, the gays and lesbians will BE SO CAREFUL about suing schools [especially CHRISTIAN ONES]over what the gays perceive as cutting remarks about their LIFESTYLE....

People will tell you the 2 bills[1441 and 1437 are different] THEY ARE THE SAME THING!!!!!!In 1437 textbooks have to show homosexuals in a positive light, all after school activities have to show homosexuals in a positive light, all TEACHER INSTRUCTION[including verbal]has to show homosexuals in a positive light..They are the same bill.
Gays and lesbians lifestyle will be shoved down kids throats[no pun intended] It is an opening shot for gays and lesbians to indoctrinate kids...In bill 1441 no christian school can teach homosexuality is wrong even with the bible [That includes all verbal statements]
They too, have to show gays in a positive light...Thats what both bills are about.....Making homosexuality NORMAL!!!!

1437 specifically includes the term disparaging remarks - So even factually true statements, such as "AIDS first took hold in, and rapidly spread through the gay community" could be considered disparaging and so would be prohibited.

1441 includes NO such prohibition.

As distastefull as it seems, any disparaging remarks about any legal lifestyle is based on the personal opinion of the instructor and rightly should be banned.

( now if we could only ban disparaging personal political opinion remarks also )

1441 does ban disparaging remarks...If you are in a Christian school and state verbally that the bible says ,"homosexuality is wrong",that is illegal and you could lose your public funding...Both bills make it hard to state any facts about homosexuality unless it is shown in a positive light and shown to be normal..I would bet the bank, the first time any Christian school teacher makes a disparaging remark, the gays WILL BE OUT IN FORCE!!!!

I'm not going to reprint 1441 here - please refer to the link and paste the portion of it that supports your statement.

Here's a reason to vote for Arnold Schwargzenegger. His record in undeniably mediocre, but do you think that Phil Angelides would have vetoed this?
