(DNC Executive Director, Tom McMahon, sent the following email to Democrats across the country today.)
Dear Fellow Democrat,
Does a major national broadcast network want to stain itself by presenting an irresponsible, slanderous, fraudulent, "docu-drama" to the American public?
Not if you and I have the last word -- but either way, we're about to find out.
The ABC television network -- a cog in the Walt Disney empire -- unleashed a promotional blitz in the last week for a new "docudrama" called "The Path to 9/11". ABC has thrown its corporate might behind the two-night production, and bills it as a public service: a TV event, to quote the ABC tagline, "based on the 9/11 Commission Report".
That's false. "The Path to 9/11" is actually a bald-faced attempt to slander Democrats and revise history right before Americans vote in a major election.
The miniseries, which was put together by right-wing conservative writers, relies on the old GOP playbook of using terrorism to scare Americans. "The Path to 9/11" mocks the truth and dishonors the memory of 9/11 victims to serve a cheap, callous political agenda. It irresponsibly misrepresents the facts and completely distorts the truth.

I wonder now if ABC will cave, and if so how.
What was the Democrats postion on Mike Moores 09-11 Fraud?
Hugh Hewitt is interviewing the dude that made the ABC 9/11 movie

Hmm... this thing might be worth watching after all...
Could this mean that ABC has decided to mention that Bin Laden was offered to The Most Ethical Administration In History by Sudan...at least twice?
He got special seating at the DNC convention......
but I don't think he got coupons for the buffet....
;-)
Thanks Mo. Just turned it on. Hard to hear, son has t.v. on.
Check this OUT!!! Bill Clinton Breaks Silence On 9/11 Docudrama
By Greg Sargent | bio
President Bill Clinton has finally broken his silence and weighed in on the controversy over the forthcoming docudrama on the attacks on the Twin Towers, "The Path to 9/11." In response to our resquest for a comment on President Clinton's opinion of the docudrama, Clinton spokesman Jay Carson emailed us a statement questioning the film's depiction of Clinton's record and suggesting that it wasn't a "serious treatment" of the facts.
"The record shows that President Clinton was committed to and focused on stopping terrorism every day," Carson emailed us, "and that his administration had many significant successes on this front, and he expects that any serious treatment of history would reflect that."
Carson also confirmed for the record that the source who spoke to blogger Duncan Black earlier today was correct: Clinton's office, Carson told us, requested a copy of the tape, but it was denied. Carson also confirmed that Madeleine Albright and Sandy Berger sent letters requesting copies, but they were denied, too.
Given the extent to which the docudrama savages the Clinton administration and blames it for allegedly not giving the CIA the go-ahead to kill Osama Bin Laden -- not to mention the amount of relentless critical fire it's drawn for its alleged wholesale invention of the facts -- many will no doubt find Clinton's statement less than satisfactory. It's certainly less forceful than seems warranted. But President Clinton's office has now said something about the controversy, questioning its portrayal of the Clinton record, and we're sharing it with you. Have at it.
I have the same problem here .. that's why I bought my wireless headphones
I can listen to what I want and ignore the kids at the same time :0)
Pretty decent review
Path to 9/11 tells a sad, riveting tale
ABC miniseries is unsparing in its portrayals, or in assigning blame

My goodness, are they ever afraid of this film.
Its too late for ABC to censor it. Rush Limbaugh and many others have already seen the whole thing during a pre-screening.
Dems in meltdown mode once again.
Not surprising because they are AFRAID of the truth.
that's why I bought my wireless headphones
What brand? I'm not familiar how they work.
Now that would be believable.
I'm not sure what to make of this.
What is with the Democrat obsession with stains?
Why only the excerpt? The DNC wouldn't object to us posting the whole thing, would they?
