Seems weird that he would give extra publicity to something that disturbs the right?
Internals must be showing that there are very few of us left.
Thanks MSM.
Oh, don't let msm lie to you. We are out here and we VOTE. So don't buy into the lies of the left and msm.
If this is OBL news, that would explain the 9-11 familes being present. Then again, Iran is going to have to come to a head sooner or later..maybe its related to that. (in addition to Gitmo news)
Oooh! I just found my Xmas list for 2006. "President makes third Sup Ct nomination."
*Crossing fingers*
*Lighting candles*
*Praying hard*
True, that would blow the theory of cutting in during Limbaugh because if it's about legal rights to terrorists, Limbaugh listeners aren't going to be too happy.
Asking networks to cut into soaps may be a ploy to either let him speak to the American people more directly about these matters, or to force the networks to take heat for not letting him, and have people listen to it on Rush.
cubbies can hear the President at pluggedin@foxnews.com
You'd probably do well to take your own advice.
Hey! That could be fun.
Get off this thread. I don't want any flame wars. Understand?
Didn't one of the SCOTUS Justices have a surgical procedure today...am I dreaming or did I read that?

I get the feeling OBL is soon to be caught!!! We are hot on his tail. BTW, I call the President W. But he and I are close!!! (in my mind anway). I respect him more than anyone other than my parents! I call them mom and dad. :)
I think he (the President) simply wants people to hear this message that don't normally hear the message. People watching soap operas most likely don't keep up with the news. Most, in this category, probably only hear of Gitmo linked to "torture" and "civil rights abuses". So, this is a way to get his side of the story out to those people.
I don't think it's any more explosive than that. Of course, I'll admit, my opinion is tainted by all the other pressers where something "big" was supposed to be announced, and it turned out to be nothing but routine. But hey, experience is a good teacher.
What I find amazing is that after yesterday's speech, I read several posts from freepers that were complaining that NO ONE would hear it...because of when it was...and what networks showed/did not show it...
NOW, today, we have the WH asking for the network time...and there are posts from freepers acting like it is a waste of time for them to do it...OR making fun of the WH for asking for this...
jeez louise...can't we even cut President Bush some slack on FR once in a while???
I can't remember a President ever breaking a major story, except maybe when the President himself or his speech IS the story. I don't see why this would be any different.
"Suri Cruise photo release press conference?"
LOL. You get the award for funniest reposonse.
She is so cute, though, isn't she?
You can get audio streams from e-mail addresses now? ;)
Oh I am sorry, I was typing what Bill Hammer said... it did not hit me it was an email.
Justice Kennedy handed in his resig...res...
No, bad luck to say it.
But, that would be "enormous."
Kennedy had a stent put in yesterday. Anybody who thinks that means immediate retirement, however, will be disappointed: an elderly family member of mine has had the procedure done three times, and she's still going strong. So I don't think this means Kennedy's seat is going to be vacant any time soon. (In any case, all the liberal justices would probably get to the court in an ambulance with their oxygen tanks and IVs clattering behind them if they thought they could prevent W from appointing another justice!)
