These three provinces have borne the brunt of the violence, which is motivated by a mixture of separatism, religion - the south is mainly Muslim in an otherwise overwhelmingly Buddhist country - perceived discrimination by the central government, smuggling and other crime.

In recent months a fourth province, Songkhla, has also suffered increasing violence.

"Individual violent incidents amount to 5,460, with Narathiwat leading with 2,074. Pattani is next with 1,656 incidents and Yala has had 1,412 incidents," Prof Srisomphop said. "Songkhla was last with 318 events."

Believe it or not, some university types do blame, not the problem itself but the increase in violence on Iraq and by extension, Bush. Actually, I imagine you will believe it.

LOL, did we have this conversation about Bosnia or somewhere else - and we're getting over populated here??

My son was in Thailand over two years ago and really enjoyed it, pictures are beautiful.

Non-Muzzies must unite worldwide and defeat this insidious menace. These terrorist bastards are dictating the rules and manipulating the media. What a dog and pony show. Less terrorist attacks leaves less for the media dupesters to "report". That have to have that "bubble headed bleach blonde" look in their eyes at all times and blather over the bad news. This world must get serious sooner than later.

"Actually, I imagine you will believe it."

To do otherwise would force them to admit that other cultures and beliefs are not automatically better than ours.

The pictures of Thailand do look pretty.

I like Thai food here.

It is too bad that the muzzies are making a mess there too.

I haven't eaten Thai food.

I have all his pictures in my computer, very ornate temples on every block.

I am not expert, but some of the food has lots of peanut butter tastes. In a good way.

Much of it looks Chinese but tastes quite different.

Watch out for the red peppers. Way too hot for me.

I don't like hot peppers. Food from India has a lot of the peanut butter flavor in things.

Good of you to remember AP journalists™ celebrating their Pulitzer Prize for Felony Murder for photos taken by Islamofascist stringers of their Islamofascist buddies murdering Iraqi election officials.

"My son was in Thailand over two years ago and really enjoyed it, pictures are beautiful."

Thailand is my second favorite country in the World, a distant second to the Philippines, the best country, the best people on God's Green Earth.
