Please ping me if you find out. Also if it is a state funeral, maybe there will be a way to see the public part of it on the web or tv.

Not everyone has the stomach to see death that you and I do.

I thought I would be able to stomach the Nick Berg beheading video, but at that precise moment, I felt like I was kicked in the stomach by a horse.

You know.......that's tacky! It's one thing I guess if he wants the video shown but do they need to show him all sprawled out in death?

The media should leave the families alone and let the dead rest in peace

The wanting to show these things by them are IMO just sick

Terrible. Just awful. I saw video on CNN those medics wheeling him to the ambulance, but you really couldn't see much of anything beyond the ambulance itself and the yellow jackets.

Like I said, the ghouls in the media can't wait to get their filthy hands on the video and show it in a continuous loop over and over again in split screen while they talk about the legacy of Steve Irwin.

There will be NO educational value to take away from it.

Airing that film would be for one purpose: ratings/money.
This cannot happen; not without his family's authorization.

I agree with both of you.
Good night... at least for a while. :)

Looks like it already is.

We'll have to remember to thank the apostle John and the precious Marys, etc., for bearing up witnessing the worst.

Witnessing suffering teaches us to cling to what saves us from it, alright. It was John that a few years later got to see the Revelation of his suffering Savior and King. He had some stomach issues, too!

Note to God: Of all of the scum you have decided we must tolerate and learn to love, why did you take from us one of those who made it so easy?

Because only the good die young. What other explanation is there for the fact that Jimmy Carter, Fidel Castro, and Helen Thomas seem to live forever?

If I make it to Heaven, I expect to see Mr. Irwin there. Just a wonderful, genuine bloke with a passion for life. We are all poorer for his loss.

I can't help but wonder if he would have survived had he left that barb in place . Impaled objects should never be removed outside of an operating room.

I meant they're already gang busting to get pictures out of him - they didn't wait for the family's authorization to do that.

The alleged photo linked in 120 is Princess Diana, I believe, not Steve Irwin (look at the url and the image title).

It doesn't look real, though. It might be a fake.

Thank goodness, if something gets out that sweet little Bindi is not ready to see, I just don't know if I could contain myself. I would not wish good things for this person.

Hindsight is a marvelous thing. I wonder what we would do put in the same situation...

Witnessing suffering teaches us to cling to what saves us from it, alright.

There are many ways to witness suffering. Jesus' death was the Ultimate Suffering, and whether many of that time knew it or not, His death taught many lessons beyond Suffering on the Cross.

Steve's suffering was a rare occurance that will happen to so few of us.
