HAVANA Fidel Castro said in a statement Tuesday that he has lost more than 41 pounds since he had intestinal surgery but added that the "most critical moment" was behind him.
The Cuban leader announced on July 31 that he was stepping aside as president to recover from the operation. He said he was temporarily turning over power to his 75-year-old brother Raul, the defense minister.
Reading between the lines, it does not appear that things are going all that well for the aging Stalinist dictator.
I wish he'd die already.
"Don't worry... Everything will be fine. The health of your great leader is improving. As proof that I am still in charge, I hereby pronounce that everyone will be alotted an additional serving of rice and beans. Yes, yes, I know.... You don't have to thank me. Just eat and enjoy."
DEAD PERSON:
I'm not dead!
CART MASTER:
'Ere. He says he's not dead!
CUSTOMER:
Yes, he is.
DEAD PERSON:
I'm not!
CART MASTER:
He isn't?
CUSTOMER:
Well, he will be soon. He's very ill.
DEAD PERSON:
I'm getting better!
CUSTOMER:
No, you're not. You'll be stone dead in a moment.
:)
Here's hoping he dies a short, but painful death.
I told you so!
LOL. Agree, he has been dead for awhile. They can continue to issue these statements for weeks and months. I guess it will explain why he looks so thin in his coffin.
LOL! I'm picturing the "guy" from "Tales From the Crypt."
Anyone see "Moon Over Parador", where Richard Dreyfuss, standing in for the dead dictator, "loses" 40 lbs so that the flabby dictator will fit his frame, and he can play him without padding? Wonder who they have hired to play Castro? LOL!
Great movie! It was a classic South American dictator parody.
the "most critical moment" was behind him.In other words, how he started losing weight in the first place. (just like Raoul)

Only 41 pounds!
If they cleaned the sh*t out of Castro entirely, they could bury the SOB in a matchbox!
