We just got back from waving signs with Katherine Harris this afternoon. Overwhelmingly positive feedback with thumbs up and horns honking! A great time was had by all!

I'm sure her Dad who loved to dress as Uncle Sam and wave signs with her....was with you all in spirit!

As Minute Gal noted: 'George Harris was a Freeper in his heart'.

Hooray! We're looking forward to the polls closing and those precinct tallies coming in tonight!

Katherine Harris was very grateful for our last minute campaign efforts this afternoon. She was out there working hard for every vote too.

Hard as it is to believe--Harris didn't even send someone across the street to Starbucks--and it was right there on the corner! How can that be possible considering everything we read about it in the newspapers? No triple venti lattes, no pink sugar...maybe we were standing there with a Katherine Harris lookalike.

That is funny as I stopped at a Starbucks this afternoon in Sarasota after my Doc appt.....LOL..I would have been happy to have taken her one....I wish that I could have been on those corners this afternoon...Her Dad was her best friend....I know how much she must miss him at times like this.....

Glad to hear the positive response for Katherine Harris. I'm not surprised.

This afternoon I went around town (Ocala) looking for some sign holders so I could help out and did not find a single one! Republican/Democrat...nothing. I then swung by the Republican Party headquarters and they were closed. Oh well.

I'll still get in touch with the party headquarters later this week and get my volunteer status officially on.

Katherine had a stand-in dressed as Uncle Sam today! You would have been pleased to see and hear the support from the passersby. From young to old, 18-wheelers, motorcycles, and Law Enforcement, lots and lots of smiles, waves, and honking horns.

So, when willthe early polls start saying who has won. I'm not in Florida, but I care about who wins tonight! I want Gallagher and Harris! If Crist wins I feel sorry for Fl.

The polls close at 7 and we may know on some of them pretty soon after...Depends on how close some of the races are....

Because Florida has a small but significant portion of voters who are located in the Central Time Zone, I'm not sure if any results will be reported before those precincts close at 8:00 pm, Eastern.

In any case, anyone who is interested can follow the election results as they come in at the Florida Division of Elections website. Just click on the race(s) that interest you from the list in the left column.

You are looking at the small picture on things.....I look at the big picture. I would consider myself selfish if I voted on my personal issues ONLY.....without looking at the big picture. The big picture to me is the RIGHT Way of LIFE for our country..ans that is mostly carried by the GOP. I'm not going to vote for an Independent or Democrap like the other poster said, just becuase of one issue i'm stuck on--like the other poster. That is being selfish.

I just emailed Fox and let them have it...They just did a MSM smear job on Katherine Harris...I hope some of the rest of you will do the same....They just parroted the same liberal media smears that we here and read here almost daily....I listened to Wesley Clark this afternoon on Fox...He was a horrible General who even Clinton fired.....Now he is one of their Military advisor's...
The lies he told and does so on each and every appearance....Seem to go unchallenged on Fox as of late....I am beginning to wonder where some of their fair and balanced went.....
