From the Orange County Register online:
[Congressman Dana] Rohrabacher has supported the Bush administration on the war in Iraq. Then, the protesters started shouting: "Bring them home! Now!"
As the pitch rose, the congressman ran out of his grey stucco home. He was barefoot.
"You just woke my babies!" Rohrabacher said. He and his wife, Rhonda, have 2-year-old triplets. Rohrabacher said he was on his back porch when he heard crying over a baby monitor.
"I am going to get all of you arrested if you don't leave right now."
"My son is in Iraq!" responded Tim Kahlor, 48, whose son is on his second tour of duty in Iraq until January 2007. "And he does not get much sleep!"
"Did he volunteer?" Rohrabacher yelled back. "Wait a minute, man, you are standing on my property. You are violating my rights And you are violating my family's rights!"
Pat Alviso, a teacher whose 30-year-old Marine son will deploy in Iraq for his second tour of duty next week, said the activists tried to visit the congressman in his office last Wednesday, but were told that his calendar was full.
"Did somebody call my office ahead of time?" Rohrabacher asked.
"I met with people all last week, I talked to them about the war . But unlike you, they were courteous, they were not arrogant." [emphasis added mine]

Thanks for the post and the ping.
Every one of those protesters are nothing but a POS. Going to peoples homes and harrassing them and their families is going way over the top.
Is the lunatic left knowingly provoking a violent confrontation with people who support the war?
Is the left so deranged that they would provoke....a kind of civil war?
However, he did EXACTLY what they wanted him to do. Ignore them and they will go away.
Two things are obvious here: the protestors stalked a Congressman at his home and there is no draft.
Like them or not, agree with their issue or not, they have a right to protest yet protesting at people's homes, at fallen troops' funerals, at private gatherings, and outside of military hospitals is sick-minded and morally wrong.
While the one Marine sited may or may not be disillusioned at our efforts in Iraq, troops volunteer to be in our military. They bought into the mission by joining -- that is what warriors do -- and know they will likely be in the battlebox. Perhaps some parents disagree with their decision to join yet these troops are not "kids," they are adults and it also their nation to defend.
It's the IT'S ALL ABOUT MEEEEEEEEE CROWD.
What a bunch of big, bloated buttholes. It's disgusting.
I'm sure sorry, Congressman and wish you joy of your babies.
Remember when Bush was first elected, Rush talked about the ex-hippies/Dems desperately wanting to relive their glory days of Vietnam protests? With his advance warning, it was no surprise when they later seized upon the WOT to bring out the peace signs again!
They can't complain that Rohrbacher lives in a mansion! That looks like a nice neighborhood, but nothing fancy.
Googling Pat Alviso reveals her to quite the busy pinko bee. She is part of the Orange County Peace Coalition and joined Cindy Sheehan in Crawford at Camp Look-At-Me.
Let's go do this at an abortionist's house.
Oh wait, that's not allowed.
NOW THAT'S THE ATTITUDE I WANT IN A POLITICAN !!!
ZELL MILLER PUBLIC SPEAKING 101 - Graduate that class and you have my vote!!!
Better yet, what batcave does Nancy Pelosi live in?
Hey, moonbats. It's time to water my lawn. Don't mind the overspray, 'kay?
Of course, an anti war politican would live behind gates and have "the help" run off any protesters.
These folks are dangerous.
Imagine if Freepers did this to Pelosi, Murtha, Justice Ginsberg, or any body else?
Kind of reminds you of the brownshirts prior to Hitlers assumption of power.
