Angelides is definitely for "working towards" socialized medicine, he just can't come out and say he would definitely sign this socialized medicine bill, because his focus groups told him, that most people in CA are against it.

But note the large difference between Arnold and Angelides.

This socialized medicine bill could destroy CA on its own.

"This socialized medicine bill could destroy CA on its own."

Which is why I wish he WOULD sign it! Socialized medicine has been a demonstrable failure in virtually every country where it has been tried, and still yet hard headed socialists here continue to work toward its establishment. Perhaps if a state implemented it, and it failed as it has done elsewhere, people may wake up and realize how much of a mistake it is.

They're both working towards that objective. They just won't sign it in an election year.

(No more Olmert! No more Kadima! No more Oslo! )

CA: Barring big changes in landscape, he'll be back - Schwarzenegger well ahead of Angelides
San Diego Union-Tribune ^ | September 3, 2006 | John Marelius

---

“Schwarzenegger is systematically defusing Democratic ammunition on minimum wage, health care and other issues – hence the flip-flopping charge,” said Jack Pitney, a professor of government at Claremont McKenna College. “The trouble with that is that the governor is flipping in the popular direction. The people who are getting an increase in the minimum wage are happy to get it, even though he previously opposed it.”

Schwarzenegger has said he would put health care at the top of the agenda in a second term. But beyond that, he has offered few clues as to what the next four years might hold if he's re-elected.

---

FO,, Maybe you can offer some insight as to his next 4 years, you're so full of good info.. or claim to be.

One can only imagine what a SchwarzenKennedy-inspired health care program would involve.

There is hope for California, as long as Arnold is there to stop the worst excesses of the liberals. Being in a liberal state, he can't do much more (as the failure of the initiatives proved) - but that's enough for now.

Remember Hillary Clinton?

;>

She attempted to take down the US Economy by seizing control of 1/7th of the economy -- healthcare. Dems in CA are continuing to try to carry water for Hillary by taking down CALIFORNIA, 1/6 of the national economy. Health firms like Kaiser have been too cozy with CA Dems for overlong. The whole U-health thing is an election year rhubarb brought about by CA Dems. So that when Arnold Vetoes the idiotic thing, Angelides has an affirmative-action shot at railing about the evvvvvvvvils of Republicans.

GEe-od.

Angelides and Fabio Nunez are both girlie men.
