"Rain or shine."

EVERY time I see these threads: I think back about the bleak days.

The Bleak Days: those days during which Medea Benjamin, et ali owned the PERMITS to hold vigils in front of all four corners of Walter-Reed.

If I was driving by I'd honk my horn. Then I'd have to turn around again just to be able to drive by while honking. Then I'd have to turn around again just to head back to where I was originally headed (of course I'd have to honk as I was driving by for the third time).

I wish there was some sort of government assistance that would pay for me to fly out that way to help you guys protest. Hey, I'm out of work, I have all the time in the world. I have no money.

Who protests now adays any more? Except for people on the government dole. That's not a dig on you guys, nor is it sarcasm: its called black irony at its epitome.

Thanks to all who braved the elements (Ernesto) to be outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Friday. I hope no one gets sick from standing in the cool temperatures and heavy rain.

FReep On!

"Maimed for a lie" was one of their commonly-used signs

That is so ugly I hardly know what to say. Great work you guys for countering that moral depravity.

Well done DC Chapter stalwarts. Since I mustered out, standing in the rain is not something that I do. This summer soldier will return with the sun.

That's so funny that they came early and parked in the Burmashave sign area for no reason! Hahaha! Thanks for supporting our troops in the rain!

I put the audio up of my "conversation" with the Pinkos down the road. By the way, it's funny how they all scramble to let me know they aren't ALL with Code Pink, ya know!! Whatever. You can download it HERE for yourself.
