This looks to be the younger brother interviewed on television (extensively) a couple of years ago.
I'm not sure if he's Muslim or not? His parents are raging hippies that eventually got involved in some psuedo-free love version of Islam. Who knew, right?
A google search does show that there's a brother named Omar. It appears that the media has known about Omar for a while.

The naive' hippies have always been seeking some "meaning" for their lives, while the true meaning was right under their noses. In seeking to be meaningful they will blindly walk into the Islamic trap. It reminds me of the story of the boy and the Rattlesnake. The one that involves a rattlesnake trapped on an icy mountain who asks a kind boy to carry him down the mountain and promises not to bite him. Sadly for the boy, he breaks his word. When the shocked good Samaritan ask him why, " He says , "You knew what I was when you picked me up. You have no one to blame but yourself. "
