A Day in the Life of President Bush (best photos of the week): 9-2-06
www.yahoo.com & other sources ^ | 9-2-06

Posted on 09/02/2006 4:06:56 PM PDT by silent_jonny

President and Mrs. Bush are spending Labor Day weekend at their ranch in Crawford, Texas.*

*This is based only on the information I could find. I could be wrong.

On Tuesday, September 5, the president will resume his series of speeches which remind us all of the true nature of our enemy (the Islamic fascists), while criticizing the critics of the WOT (the leftist appeasers).

With no other news available, today’s Dose will recap the best photos of the week.

Enjoy your Saturday visit to Sanity Island

We have so many threads going on this stunning betrayal.

We've known all along that Powell has a huge ego and is very political, but this ranks at the bottom of wormpile. Imagine .. all this misery, dozens of scurrilous attempts at the destruction of any perception of integrity and decency of our wonder President, maligning his motives, attacking him and his team at every turn, Scooter Libby in the line of fire for 2 years, running up horrendous legal bills ... and Powell and Armitage just sit there and let the slime drip, the fury grow and the lies continue.

Think of the image of the US and Pres. Bush and how he and it's been hurt. There's NO punishment, no shaming or shunning too severe for these two heartless, selfish scummy jamokes. It makes me physically ill to ponder their cruelty and the ramifications.

This is so worthwhile, if it's been missed:

Dangerous Liaisons: Wilson, Armitage and the MSM

Wow! S.D. your family is surely doing its share, and then some. Thank them all for us, and we'll definitely keep them in our prayers.

Aw, thank you, Gretchen :)

sometimes it's not so easy to decipher

ARRRGH! You would think somewhere, someplace, there would be information on where the leader of the free world is spending his Labor Day weekend. But if there is, I surely couldn't find it.

Just shows what a fantastic job Wolfstar does in assembling the president's schedule every week.

What a great job you do for the Dose...and a newbie, too! Love the hammock and I'm sure you deserve it! LOL!

Thank you for the precious Olivia with her President pic! It will surely become another classic.

I love the pics of the crowds greeting President Bush in Utah. It does the heart good to see those and of course those with his troops.

What could he possibly say to those women? From the looks on their faces it appears nothing needed to be said. They paid the greatest price for the rest of us.

Instead resorts to either silence or off the record comments to others to get even.

He acted like a child. It's stunning to realize that someone who has accomplished so much in his life could be so petty.

I used to have great respect for Powell. Now I have none.

May God bless and keep your son (and nephews) as they continue to courageously defend our country (and the emerging democracy in Iraq) . . . May God bless and keep you as well!

Hi Dad .. God bless you and your family, and THANK YOU SO MUCH for your service and sacrifice. I invite you to wander over to the FReeper Canteen, if you already haven't. It's devoted to supporting the troops with prayer, jokes, music requests, etc. And maybe your loved ones can email in, too. Several of our troops in the "sandbox" do.

not the AP but the White House Website

Well ... I guess the WH site just didn't know who they were. The caption Deb found was from a Salt Lake City site--they were probably able to talk to the Gold Star moms and properly identify them.

I'm not apologizing to the AP, though ;)
