CAIRO, Egypt — Al Qaeda's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahiri issued a new videotape Saturday along with a man identified as an American member of the terror network, inviting Americans to convert to Islam.
The 41-minute video, posted on an Islamic militant Web site nine days before the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terror attacks, had footage of al-Zawahri and a man the video identified as Adam Yehiye Gadahn, an American who the FBI believes attended Al Qaeda training camps in Pakistan and served as an Al Qaeda translator.
Gadahn and al-Zawahiri did not appear together in the footage but were each featured on a split screen. Both wore white turbans and robes.
The democrats can now demonstrate they are commmited to peace. Convert.

Gadahn is their "token" American and has participated in multiple AQ terror summits in Pakistan and Djibouti. He also had advanced knowledge of the 9/11 attacks.
I dunno, an invitation with a death threat attached to it doesn't seem very hospitable to me.
Qaeda urges non-Muslims to convert to Islam-video

DUBAI, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Al Qaeda called on non-Muslims especially in the United States to convert to Islam and abandon their 'misguided' ways or else suffer, according to a video tape posted on a Web site on Saturday.
The speaker was identified as Azzam the American, also known as Adam Yahiye Gadahn -- an Islamic convert from California wanted for questioning by the FBI and who U.S. authorities believe to be involved in an information campaign for al Qaeda.
"To Americans and the rest of Christendom we say, either repent (your) misguided ways and enter into the light of truth or keep your poison to yourself and suffer the consequences in this world and the next," Gadahn said in English.
He appeared in the video dressed in a white turban and seated in front of a computer and books.
Al Qaeda's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawhari made a brief statement at the beginning of the tape -- dated Sept. 2006 -- urging viewers to listen carefully to the message, entitled: "An Invitation to Islam".

New Al Qaeda Tape Tells Americans to Adopt Islam
CAIRO, Egypt, Sept. 2, 2006 — Al Qaeda's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahri issued a new videotape Saturday along with a man identified as an American member of the terror network, inviting Americans to convert to Islam.
The 41-minute video, posted on an Islamic militant Web site, had footage of al-Zawahri and a man the video identified as Adam Yehiye Gadahn, who has appeared in past al Qaeda videos with the nom de guerre of Azzam al-Amriki.
"To the American people and the people of the West in general … God sent his Prophet Muhammad with guidance and the religion of truth … and sent him as a herald," al-Zawahri said.
Gadahn and al-Zawahri did not appear together in the footage.
"We invite all Americans and unbelilevers to Islam," Gadahn said, dressed in a white robe and turban with a long, thick black beard and a computer terminal in the background.
Gadahn, a 28-year-old American from California who converted to Islam, is wanted by the FBI in connection with possible terrorist threats against the United States.

Actually, I think one of the best things we Americans can do is make fun of them. We do that here on FR but I think the media should just laugh at the jihadists.
