Intelligence analysts are urging a heightened awareness by citizens of the US and Canada, especially within the transportation sectors, schools, and in locations beyond those cities commonly named as potential targets of al Qaeda attacks.
1 September 2006: In classic al Qaeda fashion, As Sahab Productions, the media (propaganda) arm of al Qaeda announced yesterday that a new video featuring the terror group's second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahiri along with Adam Gadahn, also known as Azzam the American (or Azzam al-Amriki), will be released shortly. The message, reportedly titled "An Invitation to Islam" is causing concern among intelligence analysts in the United States and Canada, according to our friends within the intelligence services inside both countries.

OPINION: When a UBL or Zawahiri tape/video pops up:
1. The jihadi base is pumped up.
2. An attack is pending somewhere in the world.
3. The message(s) is played extensively on the internet;
reinforcing the sense of community for the jihadis.
4. Reinforces the fact that the jihadis are participating in a
global jihad.
5. These pukes need to be caught and their communication
tools destroyed.
You may be righ t..they know that too..Perfect time to attack us ...They KNOW we will crumble from within nd that we have a dumb population that's too friggin STUPID to even acknowledge the enemy at our doorstep..If Dems get in them I pity us all.

Al Qaeda is hoping for the same result here -- it didn't work in 2004, but they keep trying.

OPINION: I understand what you are saying, but here seems to be a hangup and I must say, this is my personal opinion.
Message is made in the hiding place of choice.
(Note: High level jihadis are known to move from place to place.)
Message is sent by messenger from the hiding
place of choice and usually winds it way to Al-Jazeera
and is played ad nauseum on the internet.
The messengers must be caught and their travel routes
examined.
No hangup. I meant drop the sucker on top of Al-Jazeera.
