Forgot about the beginning of Ramadan. Thanks. You are right about the timeline and have been all along. We have two eclipses again this year during Ramadan.

Reminds me that infamous pic with the sun, the moon, the suitcase nuke, and the Mahdi.

There are several people here now who probably weren't following the Threat Matrix back in the days that image was posted. For their, and everyone's benefit.......

Thanks.

Actually, the two eclipses ("two bows") aren't both in Ramadan. But the "prophecy" will never actually be literally fulfilled because (if I remember correctly) the solar eclipse would have to occur in the middle of Ramadan and the lunar one at the beginning. And that is backwards and definitionally impossible (solar eclipses are always new moons and lunar eclipses are always full moons, and lunar months begin with new moons with full moons in the middle).

A sun could be eclipsed during a full moon figuratively speaking (say by massive "clouds" that obscure the sun), but not literally. So it becomes an endless circle trying to determine if the "signs" fit for them (two eclipses with the solar in the middle), because however you cut it, they will have to fudge on it in some way to claim a fulfillment.

And I'm not sure that most Muslims believe in this particular "sign" (of the end times/the Mahdi's "return") any more than saying most Christians believe that the battle of Gog and Magog (what Muslims call "Yajuj wa Majuj") is the next step in a Christian prophetic calendar (eg. the premise of the "Left Behind" series), rather than in a very distant future (at the end of the Messianic millenial kingdom when Jerusalem is at peace and secure as spelt out in Revelation 20:8, Ezekiel 38-9, and Psalm 2 and therefore well over a thousand years from now), or that we await a "revived Roman Empire" (again, the premise of the popular "Left Behind" series) when Revelation 17:11 explicitly excludes that possibility (the "eighth king" belongs to the seven, but is one of the five empires that preceded Rome, not the "sixth" that ruled at the time of John) . Not trying to start an unrelated prophecy debate. Just illustrating that not all Christians believe the same things about prophecy, and the same applies to Muslims. The question is whether this particular segment of Muslim radicals believe this.

The interesting thing is that the lunar eclipse was on Sept 6/7 (at the announcement of the beginning of the 15-day window) and the solar eclipse will be on Sept 22/23 (the 15-day deadline and beginning of Ramadan).

Anybody see anything coming out of the image of the sun right above the "suitcase nuke" where the smiling gaze of Bin Laden is directed in that old picture from 2003/2004?
