Welcome to the FReeper Canteen! We're honored to have you with us for another weekend of fun, music, and amusement. We hope that you enjoy the selections provided at the top of the thread and throughout the entire thread. If you love our military, currently or served in the past, we hope you feel comfortable. Thank you for your service to our country. To our allies, thank you for all you do by standing with us!!

How this works!

1. Selections are provided for the enjoyment of our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their family members. They're priority numero uno! Got it?

2. You can request music via the thread by pinging laurenmarlowe. She does this for free because she doesn't know any better. However, please be patient and treat her well and she'll load up your request for our Troops. Thanks!

3. If you are just a lurker and not a member of FR, you are welcome to send us requests via email at musicrequests4u@gmail.com . Please put *Music Request* in the subject line. If we don't get back to you right away, please don't fret. We'll get there. These threads tend to fly! If you're a FReeper, ping laurenmarlowe or do it via FReepmail. Please help us free up the email for lurkers!

4. Not all music will be appropriate for kids. We welcome families to enjoy the music, but the ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY lies with you and not us. If you click on something and are offended, that's on you. We try to provide ample warning, but it's your mouse and decision.

5. Want to tick us off quickly? Hotlink our music! That is an absolute no-no! This is provided free of charge to our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their families. Hotlinking takes bandwidth that could be given to them.

Thanks, my..last time I tried to listen to a tune I could not! This 'puter does have it's drawbacks..i downloaded the realplayer upgrade and got rid of it downloading to the library but now it just starts and stops..trying to "communicate"..and I give up! This song did the same thing.

Now that will be a fitting place, and setting, someday, for Petey.

A funny from my Mom today. She had been sitting in her chair by the front window, hand feeding a stellar jay. She went downstairs to watch something on TV. When she came back up, the jay was in the house. He's seen more peanuts on the table and decided to help himself. She said he liked sitting on the stair railing, and even flew down onto the landing. Then he met a cat coming upstairs. She laid peanuts on a path back to the window, but finally got him to go back out via the sliding glass door. Too funny!
