Gay-marriage alert! Wal-Mart joins National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce!

August 31, 2006 Wal-Mart asks for, and receives, permission to join homosexual marriage group.

Wal-Mart comes out of the closet

Dear Reader,

Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in the world, has asked for and received permission to join the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. The NGLCC is a leading promoter of homosexual marriage.

Read "Wal-Mart Partners With Gay and Lesbian Group" here: http://www.afa.net/walmartadage.htm

Although Wal-Mart has never excluded homosexuals from being employees, customers, or suppliers, the company wanted to be more closely identified with promoting the homosexual agenda. Wal-Mart is now a "corporate member" of the NGLCC, putting their approval on the NGLCC's efforts to abolish the definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman. A Wal-Mart vice president will serve as an advisor to the NGLCC, helping them promote homosexual marriage.

Wal-Mart agreed to give $25,000 to the NGLCC and to pay for two conferences scheduled by NGLCC. Also, Wal-Mart will give homosexual-owned businesses special treatment when making purchases. Companies not owned by homosexuals will be moved down the list.

NGLCC called Wal-Mart's action "part of the company's ongoing commitment to advancing diversity (homosexuality) among all of its associate, supplier and customer bases."

Wal-Mart is offering the same kind of support for homosexual marriage which Ford Motor Company has been giving to homosexual groups for years.

Take Action 1. Send your email to Wal-Mart.

2. Wal-Mart often blocks our emails. To make sure your voice is heard, please call Wal-Mart's home office headquarters and ask for Chairman Rob Walton at 479-273-4000. Also, call your local Wal-Mart manager and express your concerns. Please, be polite when you call!

3. Print out and distribute our specially produced Pass Along Sheet: http://www.afa.net/wmpassalong.asp

Click Here to Email Wal-Mart Chairman Rob Walton Now! https://secure.afa.net/afa/activism/takeaction.asp?id=210

Thank you for caring enough to get involved. Sincerely,

Donald E. Wildmon, Founder and Chairman American Family Association

P.S. Please forward this e-mail message to your family and friends!

Clearly you did not read the article. It has nothing to do with WalMart offering gay marriage benefits. It has to do with WalMart joining the Gay and Lesbian Chamber of commerce, who are huge proponants of national legalized gay marraige, WalMart donating $25,000 TO START to the NGLCC, Wal-Mart agreeing to fund two conventions for the NGLCC, Wal-Mart giving gay organizations special treatement discounts because of their joining this NGLCC, and by proxy, WalMart supporting the radical flaming gay agenda as a whole.

As a rule of thumb, I always read an article and people's posts before responding to them. Try that out and then post about it. :)

I looked but didn't see it. I'm glad someone else posted it!!! This is VERY important and if all conservatives jump on this and stop buying at WalMart unless absolutely necessary out of dire necessity, it will make a difference, unless WalMart is willing to get used to a permanently lower profit margin in 95% of the country that aren't blue Congressional districts. I hope this spreads like wildfire all over the country and puts WalMart in their place. Companies can't continue to flaunt this gay crap in the faces of the clear majority of Americans who don't like it, and expect us to just take it and continue giving them our money. I won't see the inside of a WalMart again until they reverse this decision. Period.

"This is really sad. Wal-Mart caving in to liberal pressure groups. Sam must be spinning in his grave." My father-in-law works at WM as a supervisor and he's REALLY not happy about it. Even they won't shop at WalMart anymore because of this, and he works there. This will cost WalMart MILLIONS, maybe even hundreds of millions, and even WalMart can't ignore that bottom line drop in the black.

The Salvation Army is about the only organization of that type that we support. I'm thankful for the bell ringers. While I can understand not wanting to have to listen to the bell all day!, I'd rather do that than be in the situation of needing their relief services.

It's so gay, but you posted in it. :) 8 of 10 Americans oppose gay marriage. Even liberals polls show that. That speaks for itself.

Because Wal-Mart gave 25K to some queer group, you want me to stop shopping there and possibly hurt some innocent people's livlihood because you have a problem with gays? Dream on.

I'm about to go on a 24 day trip to pretty much every state east of the MS river. You make want to patronize every Wal-Mart I see.

It's getting to that point. If I can't get stuff from a small local shop, I'll do without. If I have to pay more, so be it. I'm sick of being expected to give my money to people who openly oppose traditional values that allowed the country to be created.

Oh, I don't mean to imply that I don't support them. I most certainly do! And the Red Cross. But I do it by check and in a much larger sum than I can fork over out of spare change or whatever other crumbs may happen to be at hand in my purse!

"Wal-Mart giving gay organizations special treatement discounts because of their joining this NGLCC. . ."

What are the discounts? It's been brought up in other threads, but no one has shown any evidence of 'discounts.' And if there are discounts, are these discounts also given to other organizations that WalMart supports? I'm skeptical about this alleged special treatment.

Target is probably a charter member of GALA, in fact they are much worse than Wal-Mart when it comes to liberal corporate policies,,but I do prefer shopping there, such a better atmosphere than getting my achilles rammed into at Wal-MArt.

I hate to support Wal-mart, but I live in a tiny town and it is 35 miles to a shopping center, but I am going to let them know that I am really unhappy with them and will shop elsewhere when I can.

Let's see how that graph looks in a few months if the 200+ million Americans who always say they oppose gay marriage put their money where their mouths are. If conservatives walk the talk, WalMart will lost more money then they're willing to lose just to support the tiny minority flaming gay agenda and gay marraige, which even fails in most blue states when put before the voters.

Conservatives need to put up or shut up on this issue and other isuses that conservatives purport to oppose. If conservatives aren't willing to act on things like this, then they're milk toast weaklings who talk a big game but have nothing to put on the field and I'm sick of big talking people who don't stand for what they claim to believe in.

And at what point do you think the frog will jump out of the gradually warming pot of water, heading towards boil? What line is too far for you to cross? Gay individuals getting discounts that straight individuals don't? Gay married couples getting special discounts tht straight couples don't? Let me know what spot you choose to draw your uncrossable line on.
