Two weeks ago, I reported here on Cryptomundo that there was a report that Russian hauled up a dead plesiosaur. Scott Corrales had forwarded the story to us here at Cryptomundo.
The story was taken with a grain of salt, as there were no corroborating photographs. Today, Cryptomundo reader 71_machone informed me that the photos were available on the website English Russia.
This is what is reported there with the photos.

A friend of mine sent me this link. Alligator? Croc? Who knows. Creepy pictures none the less.

Agree. Looks like a Beluga whale from the mouth.

Maybe a pilot whale, they have teeth.
To: gitmo
Yep.. that would mark it in the 'whale' column.
To: msnimje
LOL! She looks like that talking mountain in The Never-ending Story from that angle.

They do, however, look crocodilian in nature
The teeth in the open mouth view do no support a crocodilian theory. The teeth are those of a herbivore, not a carnivore.
Of course, the creature could be a mutant of some type.

The cranial capacity appears modest for a whale.
A sample with measurable brain activity might yield richer data.

My apologies for the crude post above but the resemblance is remarkable.

Not even vaguely a crocodilian. It is some kind of cetacean. If it was prehistoric it would look more like Helen Thomas!

It looks like a plesiosaur to me. But then I thought that thing on Mars looked like a face.
