Why The Left Continues To Lose (hatred of Bush will continue to hold them down)
Wiz Bang ^ | August 31, 2006 | D.J. Drummond

The Democratic Party of the United States is in decline. That is a simple fact, yet one which the Democrats continue to deny, at least in public. This, frankly, risks an out and out tailspin, but that is the way of desperation, I suppose. Of course, the Left – which is presently in firm control, if not command, of the Donkapalooza which spews forth such notables as Howard Dean, John Kerry, and Al Gore – has at its reach the means to change its direction and fortunes, and in private the Democrats are trying to do just that. It must be admitted that, so long as people like John McCain and Arlen Specter and Bill Frist are the Republicans’ notion of national leadership, the keys to driving the national policy are very much up for grabs. Fortunately for the Republicans, the Democrats have repeatedly shown that they do not wish to take grasp of such opportunities, when that opportunity would require them to be realistic.

Two recent articles in the press abundantly show what I mean. The first one was an article The American Prospect by Justin Logan titled “Mind the Gap”, and the other was “Message of Misery” by Anne Kim, Adam Solomon, and Jim Kessler in The Democratic Strategist. Between them, they demonstrate an amazing lack of attention to the American public, and a continuing and serious case of denial, both of which have and will continue to prove fatal to any goal of national leadership. First, Logan’s piece. I like a man who sets out his thesis right from the start. I like Logan, therefore, because he is wrong from the very first sentence, which reads ” It is becoming increasingly obvious that Democrats have a stronger grasp on national security issues than do Republicans.”

Now some of the wacko left is going to release a movie about the "assassination" of President Bush. Just when we thought they couldn't get any dumber they go and redeem themselves.

The Democratic Party of the United States is in decline.

Well why is it projected that the Democrats will gain majority in Congress and advance in the Senate this fall?

FWIW, if they do this it is safe to say the the United States is in decline.

I think it is a British production.

British production fully endorsed and funded by the American left. I guarantee it will make it's way to the American left as a hero flick and distributed on American soil.

When you're a political party and you have no ideas, or the ideas you have are opposed by a majority of the electorate, you have to go with mindless emotion.

Also, when the world is moving toward an unavoidable war, the party of "give peace a chance" becomes less and less attractive. They're trying to selling suntan lotion in chilly late November.

Rush is doing a parody by saying that he is going to produce a movie with X-president bj being captured and beheaded by the jihadists. I know which one I'd pay to see.

Designed as a critique of what is wrong with contemporary America!! How would an Englishman know? From what he reads in the New York Times??

The demonrats seem to be like the russians in 1989 during the demise of the USSR : when people have nothing, they won't believe in nothing, they'll believe in ANYTHING. As to some dems trying to remake their party, a few like my son realize that a political party is like an airplane : how long does a plane fly with just one(left)wing? They've chopped off their stubby right wing(Scoop Jackson, Traficant, Zoe Miller, now Lieberman)now it's "auger in" time for their one winged party. Thus he's been trying to get this NDM(New Democratic Majority)party going in NYC, sort of a Teddy Roosevelt type of philosophy, but doomed to fail of course. Poor kid, still hasn't graduated from the liberal-laden university mentality...

Because it's Democrats doing the projecting. Don't believe everything you see in the MSM.

The disturbing thing about this film is that it legitimizes the idea of assassinating President Bush. All it will take is one infuriated Moonbat to try, especially if the Pubbies win the '06 election. Don't doubt for a moment that this very legitimation of assassination is what a lot of DemonRats are trying for. After all, it's already a party of traitors, criminals, liars, and nincompoops.

That's good enough, but I'd prefer to see the Bent One die more appropriately, of combined AIDS and leprosy.

I am wondering who is more delusional, and if I will be able to find out before November.
