I am proudly endorsing Tom Gallagher for Governor of Florida. In a day when moral standards are up for grabs, Tom will be a champion for the family. He will work to provide genuine school choice for every Florida child, and he understands that the courts must be reigned in.

Dr. James Dobson National Conservative Leader

Yeah, duh.... I think we should all try it! < /s >

End of life decisions can be much more painful and complicated than you and your band of obnoxious activists will ever acknowledge. That's why I don't want ~you~ involved in my life either. :~)

If there's disagreement about the best course of treatment among doctors or family or anyone else with ~standing~ (and that's not you!) there are the local courts to argue and settle disputes. But it would be a travesty if any but those who absolutely can't come to an agreement ended up getting dragged through that.

I know you disagree... My hope is that people with your extreme point of view ~don't~ get elected to office.

erring on the side of life is extreme..????? I agree with your analysis but not your conclusion.... I prefer that end of life be decided by family, and when the family can not agree the LOCAL courts hear the case, and if there is still no agreement, the State MUST err on the side of life... The State of Florida FAILED all of us in this case..... I don't think this position is at all "extreme"

Bush vs McBride is not a fair comparison.... you can't compare General election to Primary...

The court settles disagreement with a DECISION. That doesn't mean everyone agrees, it means everyone has been heard and a judgment made. Of course there is a reasonable appeal process, but at some point it has to stop. One side wins, and one side loses. And under no circumstances should Congress subpoenae a vegetative woman to testify just to throw a big ole smoke bomb into the process.

this is where is comes right down to principle.. in this case the will of the patient could not be known for sure.. so as a State we have set the precedent that if your wishes are unknown the State will order your death.. a horrible precedent IMHO

Way too many Florida Republicans don't even know who Dr. Dobson is, let alone allowing him to decide their vote.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

But,,,,Those who do know Dr. Dobson will organize to get out the vote.

Tallahassee needs to be rid of bureaucrats who think they have lifetime appointments. They don't and they are dragging Florida down.

Whoever can kick faux republicans out of Tallahassee is fine by me.

Finally, more proof that Charlie Crist is a component in Florida's forced exit program.

DOCTOR LINDA, MIAMI'S OWN MICHAEL SCHIAVO. CALLING DR. LINDA, CALLING DR. LINDA.

If she's hurting patients in Miami, somebody better find out.

And, Doctor Linda's poll where a big hospital chose Crist overwhelmingly, it proves that doctors in Florida think that murder is a medical decision.

Are they killing patients in Miami or exactly what are they doing down there? Why are they 96% for Crist? Are they in the death lobby at work and in their spare time?

Please read 8mmmauser's posts re: WND.

MURDER IS NOT A MEDICAL DECISION but Florida's teaching hospitals call it a medical decision. These people are for Crist. Why? Because they are euthanasists just like CHARLIE CRIST.

Please see my last post. There's a Miami hospital and a Dr. Linda who is for Charlie Crist. She's fuzzy on what natural death is. She's pretty clear on a patient she never examined: Terri Schiavo.

INVESTIGATE DOCTOR LINDA, PLEASE. She's for Charlie Crist and she posted that murder is a medical decision. It isn't.

Wow! This is really scary stuff! If you know about doctors murdering patients in Miami, you should notify law enforcement immediately with what you know! It might mean you'll have unmarked cars following you around, but sometimes, you just need to do the right thing.

More truth. Tom Gallagher is pro-life and anti-euthanasia which is illegal in Fla. (Don't tell Crist because he doesn't know the laws of Florida and it would be a waste of time.)

The Chamber of Commerce poll shows a much closer race. Tom Gallagher will keep Floridians safe but Crist is underqualified and he could ruin Florida. He already has put his stamp on the Fl AG Office. He's a horrible attorney general and he perjured himself and defamed Tom Gallagher in the August 28th debate. Should an attorney general perjure himself regarding his opponent? He violated his oath in the debate. Crist doesn't play by the rules because he doesn't even know what the rules are. CRIST could ruin Florida.

MikefromOhio, I have lots of documentation. It weighs a ton. So do other people who live here. The Florida you want it to be still exists but there is the seedy side too. I didn't see any takers on my google suggestions: "Lisa MacPherson", downtown clearwater, Auditor Robert Melton, Crist's FL AG Page "end of life decisions". That is code for EUTHANASIA. Crist is part of Fla's culture of death. He is not pro-life. It's fortunate that most seniors do not have access to a computer or they could pick up the end of life forms at Charlie's page.

Wills to Live are better than Living Wills. Living Wills are open to interpretation and many times, seniors don't realize they won't get any nutrition and/or water. When it is taken away and they ask for it, they are denied. Their living will has more power over their fate than their own words!
