The president hit the campaign trail, traveling from Texas to Arkansas to support gubernatorial candidate Asa Hutchinson, then to Loews Vanderbilt Plaza, Nashville, Tennessee (news and video), where hell attend a fundraiser for Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Bob Corker.
Laura Bush was in Bellevue, WA, to help raise funds for Senate candidate Mike Mike McGavick.
Hi EmG -- you're welcome. Wouldn't you love to see W holding one of our newest citizens? I'd love to hear what he says to the little ones.
Speaking of pics...great job today, GM!
When Bri Bri asked the president about the Sec'y of Defense's speech today, Bush said he didn't even know Rumsfeld was giving a speech today. How's that for showing Bri Bri he's not afraid of the press? If he were, he'd be a super control freak, managing every such detail.
That first photo really shows the sparkle in Laura's eyes.
Good observation, speekin. I hadn't caught that before.
You have really hit the nail on the head why we get those wonderful photos - thanks for noticing.
Brian Williams has become a major media pimp. The other night he did a special on how he handled Katrina. It was sickening. It showed clips of him in different situations in NO during the hurricane, the flooding and aftermath. He showed how it was hard on the citizenry, but also made a point to discuss how hard it was on the media. BLeck. There are days I feel i could throw my tv through the window, this was one of those times. :)
What the heck is up with all these little villiage idiots calling themselves journalists??? Their hate is blindingly obvious.
Which one is The Maggot? You Decide!

Hmmmm.....not fair asking a trick question like that. :)
I would LOVE for him to talk with one of my girls. Love it. It would make me so proud, I'd be bursting. :) On the other hand I would LOVE for him to have a conversation with me! Of course, I would suffer the worst case of brain freeze and just stammer and stutter and then possible faint. :)
What it says to me is that Bush trusts his team. He sets the tone, and trusts them to carry the message. I really think that Rumsfeld was anxious to put the responsibility for terrorism all over the world on the extreme Islamists.
But he was more moderate in tone until Bush started using the term "Islamofascists". Now, they all will.
And I expect Rummy to do it over and over.....
It shows what BOTTOM FEEDERS these Plankton*-Lites have become that they consider NEWS to be THEMSELVES COVERING A NEWS STORY.

Internet explorer as opposed to what? I sign on using IE. I have problems with videos...sometimes. Other times everything is fine.
I've always been fascinated by the way he holds babies up to his eye level, and stoops to the eye level of the little kids. They relate to him as an equal that way, I guess.
Not too many politicians bother to make the kids so comfortable.
But I sure do like the pix we get from his approach. :-)
LOL! I knew that definition from watching Sponge Bob. Plankton is the worst character on the show. :)
Well I have enjoyed the dose, but if I am going to get up in the morning, I better say good night. See ya'll tomorrow.
Hard to tell the difference, isn't it?
Thanks.....was just wondering.....they are proving the women with CLASS in Washington are CONSERVATIVES!!!
"he holds babies up to his eye level, and stoops to the eye level of the little kids. "
It shows he's interested and cares about them. I always had trouble with adults who couldn't be bothered to put themselves at a child's level to interact with them.
