There was a lot of talk during Katrina about the cops that went missing, but wasn't there an issue that some cops were on payroll that didn't actually exist. On the one year anniversary, I'm just wondering whatever happened to that story.
Evidently it is the "look the other way syndrome." Bush might not want to offend the the mayor and governor. So sad too damn bad.

Half sarcasm, but that would be a perfect way.....lump them in with the actual cops who were shirkers/cowards......end of problem, no investigation or charges.

It was determined by the police department that the two shoplifting, female police officers were getting items for "official police business" and weren't actually shoplifting but taking items that the police department needed to carry on their "resuce efforts." I'm not kidding. I read it right here on FR months ago.

There are a lot of missing stories, for instance what happened to the Hillary hasnt paid for the government plane story. What happened to the rape story about the ball players from N. carolina? It seems if the story doesnt ring with liberals they all die. I always thought the black stripper was lying.

I was just thinking about that myself not too long ago. The story just seemed to sort of ***PPIFF*** and become an "unstory". Sort of like the bulletins re: Castro.
