What a crock. I wish I could have taken a few of my college tests twice and then counted the higher scores. Mush headed, liberal academia...all show and no substance.

As long as I can remember, you have always been able to retake the SAT.

LOL, my son's HS teachers spent the MAJORITY of 2006 ranting and raving about the "evil Bush" and the "evil war".
Seriously it got so bad that the students started to chuckle whenever another rant started.
It seems all of his assignments in every subject managed to include a political statement.
The Dems, especially the teachers who are mentally weak anyway, have completely gone over the edge of sanity.

I read that the SATs are easier now, than they were in the sixties, and that the scores now are equivalent of 50 points higher scores on the old test. I'm not sure if that is total or individual.

I can't believe all the teachers whining about "teaching to the test". My teachers were ignorant of "the test". My SATs were just fine for admission to UCSD. I never even opened an SAT review book. My secret weapon for good test performance was a quart of eggnog at the lunch time break and a good night sleep the night before. Doing all my homework and class assignments helped too.

Bad news, todays SAT is an already dumbed down version of what I took back in the late 60's. Scores got so embarrassing they dumbed down the test in late 80's earlier 90's. LOL, public schools, waste of money.

I went to a party the night before my SAT, and slept in the HS parking lot so I wouldnt miss it.
Ahh, the benefits of being a "student athlete"
