If only I could enjoy getting screwed by the U.N., I'd be very satisfied.

The United Nations peacekeeping force to be deployed in Lebanon is facing further criticism after the admission that its forces will not even be allowed to intercept shipments of arms to Hezbollah from Syria.

The question is: What naive fools ever believed that the UN would do anything useful, let alone anything that would help Israel?

Oh, yeah. That putz Olmert and his appeasing fellow travelers like Shimon "give it all away, who cares as long as I can wear $3,000 suits and be in photos with world leaders" Peres.

Hawk. Spit.

Other than stealing and wasting the civilized world's wealth, what good is the UN??

In other words, they're there to protect the weapons shipments. If we have any guys there, let's pull 'em out and attack the enemy.

What a joke.

This is why Hezbollah agreed to this. The UN will act as human shields for Hezbollah while they rearm for the next attack.

Then when Hezbollah does attack, they will use civilians, and now 15000 UN to hide behind as they fire.
And ofcourse if any of the UN peacekeepers are killed, Israel will be blamed and Koffi will scream about war crimes.
Hezbollah is playing the UN and MSM like a fiddle.

And let's not forget that Senator (up)Chuck Schumer of New York wants to give the U.N. billions to refurbish and renovate their pathetic latter-day Towel of Babel headquarters.

Send Schumer to Lebanon as an honorary UNIFIL observer and let's see what sort of song he sings after he gets back.

Assuming he gets back that is...

Oh be still my fluttering heart.

The ancient Hebrew Scriptures warn repeatedly of a future when all the nations of the world will be gathered together against the restored nation of Israel...

...so the UN will stop Israel... but let Syria bring in weapons to kill innocent civilians...

This so called cease fire is a joke. Israel should go in and get rid of Hezbollah now. They will eventually have to do it anyway. Better now than later.

"Troops are not going in there to disarm - let's be clear," he said. Instead, the Unifil force will only carry out interception missions if asked by the Lebanese government - which has made no such request.

Gee really? What would the UN think? That Lebanon, governed by Syria, would ask the UN to stop Syria delivering weapons?

If anyone saw Brit Hume last night, he came right out and said there was no way to 'talk Muslims out of Jihad. They're going to kill us, so we have to beat them. Kill them. (Juan was upset and looked teary-eyed.) Like Nazi's in WWII, we had to smash them. Brit didn't mince words, thank God. It looks as if the kidnapping of the two Fox newsmen had an impact, but not quite what Jihad-Johnny had in mind.
