There is also the question, raised on another thread tonight, questioning whether the American $100 bills being passed out by the "social servants" at Hezbollah are counterfeit bills printed by Iran. It would be a simple matter for a reporter to pay $200 for a $100 bill from several recipients in Lebanon, and then get those bills checked for whether they originated in the US Mint, or not.

Iran did have the old USA printing presses, so if they are handing out the old bills, they would be counterfeit more than likely.
They have so much oil money that what would be 2 million in hundreds for them anyway.
