FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT
Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies military and the family members of the above.
Honoring those who have served before. 
    
It is the Soldier, not the minister
Who has given us freedom of religion. 
It is the Soldier, not the reporter
Who has given us freedom of the press. It is the Soldier, not the poet
Who has given us freedom of speech. 
It is the Soldier, not the campus organizer
Who has given us freedom to protest. It is the Soldier, not the lawyer
Who has given us the right to a fair trial. 
It is the Soldier, not the politician
Who has given us the right to vote. It is the Soldier who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag, 
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.

Thank you to all the heroes out there in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard who ensure that the freedoms we enjoy today will continue to future generations. You are not forgotten.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — With Tropical Storm Ernesto breathing down their necks, NASA managers gave up on a Tuesday space shuttle launch and prepared to move Atlantis indoors if the storm continues to threaten. There can still be a Tuesday launch if Ernesto winds down or turns in another direction :o(Looks like I might have traded one bit of excitement for another. *sigh* I really didn't count on a "hurrycane" to be one of the signts I wanted to see this time! LOL!

How 'bout them Cards?Seriously -- I am glad we won, but I felt sorry for the Cubs last night. That first error in the outfield that gave Rolen three extra bases on a single sort of set up the atmosphere of the game.
