I'm not going to try to convince anyone one way or the other. It's your vote and you should vote your conscience.
oh boy....
Put me down for 3 days near Ybor City in Tampa.
This also allows for photo ops for the impending storm (Ernesto)....
:)
I must be missing something here. I never knew it wasn't OK to participate
no matter what religion one is.
Really Mike, how old are you, or is there something in the water in Ohio?
Thanks now we are getting ready for Ernesto
You are obviously not Katherine Harris.
I know you think highly of Katherine Harris- and respect your loyal support for her- so mean no disrespect to you or anyone else who feels as you do. I simply cannot vote for her after reading the interview yesterday.
Her record- for good or ill is no longer of interest to me.
With which of Harris' statements do you disagree?
Old enough to know better and the water in Ohio is just fine....
Look, the rules of pandering to a group -- whether Christian, Jewish or whatever -- are very simple:
A)Dress appropriately.
B)Eat whatever they serve you.
C)Praise their values, ideals, traditions, etc. without excluding whatever group you have to pander to the next day.
These are not difficult rules to follow.
Forgot my sarcasm tag. Since Harris' earlier comments were all about Christians in government, and the press release was about work she's done for Jews and Jewish causes, I made a joke about her being OK with both Christians and Jews in government, but not anyone else.
With which of Harris' statements do you disagree?
yeah hey good luck with that. Hopefully Ernie there will get his bottom ripped out by the mountains in Southern Cuba....
FWIW that's how I kinda fell into the conversation with my wife's uncle and aunt. We were calling them to make sure they were watching (he travels a lot) and had plans ready for her grandfather.
They had the eye going DIRECTLY over his house in Largo earlier. Thankfully that's backed off a bit.
I'm not interested in a theological history lesson. My statement was broad brush in terms of TOO MUCH GOVERNMENT regardless of religion faith held by someone in the DC crowd.
Whatever happened to actions speak louder than words?
LOL...pretty glad you're not working for CENTCOM anymore..good to have you back on home territory!
Yeah....
Although I kinda wish I was still.
There was something about going to work there. Until just recently I hadn't had the same feeling here in Ohio.
But it's coming around. And there is something to being able to drive for an hour or two and see my parents or her parents or our siblings, all of whom are having kids all of a sudden....
Today's Sunday edition had the "special" primary section in which all candidates were allowed to place a picture, give biographical info and state in their own words(limited space)a brief blurb about their political philosophy. There was no editorial content. Let me see if you can guess which "genius" candidate "declined" to submit any information? This candidate was the only candidate who failed to provide info published free of charge by the paper and which will be read by the voting public of PBC. I will give you a clue, she likes to ride horseys.
I meant to mention this was the Palm Beach Post.
