I'm disappointed that only the good die young and that bitter spinsters apparently live forever.

This is a compliment to Blair and President Bush. Carter is the biggest failure EVER as a President and Past-President. And that is saying a lot when you realize Bill Clinton is part of that group. Carter would be laughable if her were not such an embarassment to our country and a force for failure in Iraq.

After an extended volley, advantage to Carter here at the Suckingham "Worst Former President" Tennis Invitational.
Clinton looks grim but downs a Big Mac & waits for the serve--now he throws down his racket, storms over to the umpire and says,
"We are not as beloved in the world as we have been in recent years."
Point to Clinton! 40 deuce . . .

As Lillian Carter said, "after seeing the children I spawned, I should have remained a virgin."

She sounds like the only Carter that had a brain.

Okay America. Raise your hands.

How many are disappointed with everything Jimmy has done and said in his entire pitiful life?

(I thought so.)

In the run up to the Iraq war .. while Hillary was supposedly hawking her book in Europe, Bill Clinton was lobbying European members of the UN to vote against going to war in Iraq.

During one of Bill's lobbying efforts, he met up with Blair at a London cocktail party and book signing. According to a UK reporter, Blair and Bubba had a very loud and controntational discussion - in which Bubba informed Blair that if he continued to support Bush and the war, Blair would not win re-election. Bubba also tried to tell Blair that America was acting like a bully and needed to back off.

Funny .. I don't recall ever reading or hearing about that meeting in ANY AMERICAN MEDIA OUTLET ..??

Then, after that meeting and the successful advance by the USA and the UK in Iraq, Blair came to America to speak before a joint session of Congress. It was here that Blair tipped me off about his conversation with Bubba:

On July 17, 2003, Tony Blair made this statement:

“There is no more dangerous theory in international politics than that we need to balance the power of America with other competitive powers; different poles around which nations gather.

“Such a theory may have made sense in 19th century Europe. It was perforce the position in the Cold War.

“Today, it is an anachronism to be discarded like traditional theories of security. And it is dangerous because it is not rivalry but partnership we need; a common will and a shared purpose in the face of a common threat”. [Which is why Tony gets it!]

For those in Rio Linda – an anachronism means: “a person or a thing that is chronologically out of place; especially: one from a former age that is not compatible in the present”.

Personally, I believe the statement by Tony was a reply – and slap in the face - to Bill Clinton’s confrontational meeting with Tony in London [if you stick with Bush you will lose your election].

And .. Tony did win re-election.
