As I watched it, I could see that it had been heavily edited, the camera position jumps several times. I appears Steve had to repeat, re-read several sections until his captors were satisfied. It is very forced and stilted reading.

Muslim people belive in peace and they love brotherhood.

I have a message for President Bush as well. Islam is not fascism. Words like that only serve to deepen the great chasm between peoples, to fan the flames of anger and distrust that already burn in the Muslim world.

The West is seen as waging war on Islam, and these words, “Islamic fascists” only reconfirm that belief among many. Please President Bush, please Tony Blair, open your minds to Islam and bring peace to all people around the world.

I read last week that Trent Lott and Cong. Gene Taylor are suing their insurance companies for NOT covering all of the damage to their "expensive" homes...

I always watch the Fox show as a repeat on Sunday night...that way I don't have to channel surf so many stations...

I really watched Fat Timmy and Nagin for a few minutes..they got boring...then I switched to Stephy and Landrieu...until they were done.

Then I switched to CNN with Wolfie...and JUST as I predicted...every single question to al-Maliki is about a NEGAVTIVE event in Iraq...not one positive question...AND he has asked him at least 5 times...rewording the same question.."when at the USA troops going to leave Iraq"...

EACH time, al-Maliki said, "I don't know"....LOL

Thanks, I saw that! I am not concerned about the fake conversion or the video tape its silly.

It does not negate the reporter's praise of the Pals as kind and beautiful people and the photo op with Hamas.

I will wait to see if in Israel he does the same gushing to the Israeli people and their gov, and when he returns to the US how much praise he gives us and our President.

I am sure I will be waiting a looooooooong time.

Thanks, first time I've read it.

One observation, though.......from the sound of that script, those Hezbos and their buddies (mentioning Afghanistan like that struck me as particularly telling) are in a major league world of hurtin' right now, and all we or the Isrealis really have to do is hit 'em again to put them out completely.

Why, by the way, did they leave out mention of Iraq? Could it have become such a lost cause for them that they'd as soon not mention the place?

If I had to choose between Nagin and Blanco I think I would choose Nagin.

He did early days bad mouth GWB but I think later they developed a working relationship which Blanco never has even if she did not like or agree with the President for the sake of her people she should have done.

McCain has made a classic error. He thought that by driving his crash veichle to the left he could chum up enough lefties to get elected. The polls suggest he can.

Problem is when you drive on the left side of the street you inevitably crash! Even Juan Williams figured that out and is now driving on the right side of the street!

McClame will crash when he tries to become the nominee and finds his steering wheel firmly locked into the leftward position. He will keep crashing into wall after wall and finally will figure out he too was driving on the wrong side of the street.

I must admit when I see on TV some houses in the States I often wonder how they are not condemned by the local authorities you would never get away with it in the UK.
