Singer Steve Nicks is doing her part to support U.S. troops by donating hundreds of iPods to soldiers wounded in Iraq. The former Fleetwood Mac star regularly visits soldiers at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
She explains, "I refuse to be pulled into the politics of war. But once these soldiers sign up, go to war and come back to a hospital, I will do whatever it takes to make them better." Nicks has provided iPods loaded with her music, along with fellow artists Aerosmith and Elvis Presley.
She has also sent baby clothes to war widows, joined bedside vigils and with the United Service Organization (USO), hopes to provide every returning soldier with a music player. She adds, "Any one of them could be my own child. You can't help falling in love with every one of them."

Lindsey Buckingham's solo stuff is an acquired taste. I've never really acquired it either.
As far as Fleetwood Mac, people are still paying to see 'em, so more power to 'em, but IMHO from a quality standpoint, they should've hung it up when Christine McVie decided to retire. I like Stevie Nicks ... and as to the subject matter of this thread, good for her for giving the iPods ... but having Christine in the mix kind of balanced things out and kept them in equilibrium, and I've really found their more recent music without her to be pretty much unlistenable.

I hope she's kept the witchcraft. Maybe she can turn some of the moonbats into real moonbats.

If you were a sick vet, wouldn't you want at least one of her songs on your iPod? I would. Almost everything she ever sang was luminous, gorgeous, soulful and orginal. I liked her work with Fleetwood Mac circa "Rumours."

I just reminded my ex tonight that our daughter would be in HS in two years... her reply? "SHUT UP!"
I, off course, reminded her once more. She said to shut up four more times.

I love her voice. It is unique.

At the base, the goat goes Bahhhhhhhhh and the soldiers yell, "Look it is Stevie Nicks." Very funny. ...is just so happened that I like Stevie's raspy voice just like Bonnie Taylor's voice. It gives the song a unique flavor thanks to the singer. To compare it to a goats growl it is a hugh stretch...!

Loved her singing too.

I didn't jump down anyones throat.I pointed out the fact he didn't even read the 4 sentences that would have answered his question. What's it to you anyway you his dad come to defend him?

Yeah
I once dated a girl years ago (20) only because she looked like a Stevie Nicks twin. Didn't last but funny thing was she hated Fleetwood Mac and would stare daggers everytime I played them.
Stevie's hot always has been always will be (even with the pounds)
