Wonder which catherdrals the IRA wants converted to mosques first in Ireland and which stadiums reconfirgured for better viewin of the stoning women? Indeed. They are fools. Dangerous fools. Wasn't the IRA sympathetic to the Nazis back in WWII? And now this. Short-sighted fools. The Islamic Republic of Ireland.

Thank you for your vote of confidence. I wasn't sure exactly of what your post was getting at, and I did not wish to be offensive. Thanks for the info as well. I haven't been on FreeRepublic very long, and I don't know all that much about many aspects of this website. For instance, what is a "ping"? And, how do you do a "ping", and what do you do with a "ping"? I also see acronyms which don't make sense. Is there a page with explanations? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I dare you to say that in South Boston on March 17th.

Yes there is a page with good explanations of all the FR jargon. I cannot remember it right now but I will find it and post it to you.
A 'ping' is where you are alerted to a post which is of interest to you. You request to go on the ping list and can request to be taken off them.
there is even a cricket ping! If you know someone who might be interested in a post you put their name at the top and it comes up in their ping list (at the top of the page). Clever.

Great point! That Mick who threw money into a hat at a Southie bar when the IRA was raising money, might have caused the death of his own Marine son in Iraq.
I say this as someone with O' in my last name so don't come back and say it's OK to fight the Brits.

Wouldn't dream of it. I've got a 'Mc' in mine, our old family name was Mulcachy, pronounced by those who knew no better as 'MULK-HIGH'.
All Celtic I guess.

The Islamic octopus, and it's tentacles extend everywhere. Islamics always coming up with new things that go boom and kill infidels via stealth. Islam has it's own fixed assets and once they (Mecca etc.) are nuked there will be no more Islam except for a few stragglers on the run. Then Iran changes Zoroastrian Persia and Arabians revert from Islamic paganism to a more benign desert paganism

If American, these guys should be hunted down and shot on sight, world wide. See how they like their own buds tracking them down to Costa Rica, Brazil or where ever they try to hide. Executive order, extreme prejudice. Guys would line up to off them.

Clever?
You cleverly inserted former GIs in your current indictment and while it is inderstood that certain scurrilous Americans have underwritten the IRA, where do you draw specific participation of ex-GIs?
"former special forces' soldiers-turned-mercenaries from Britain and the US who are willing to sell their deadly expertise to the highest bidder."
Where is the proof that supports your accusation of ex-Gis?
It has long been established that the IRA has hired out it's snipers to Muslim terrorist organizations, but where do you find evidence of mercenary ex-Gis?

Odd isn't it. To be a pagan was once the lowest of insults. But Islam is far, far worse.

Not least it is a heritage of (mainly) American Democrat financial support over the decades.
This establishes a link between Islamofascism and the Clintons. Bill's activities in Ireland were a bridge to their mutual global pretentions. The Irish republic is alive and well and cohabitating with their sworn enemy.

As a Brit I must say that I find it hard to understand why this isn't a bigger issue for the American Right. The Democrats were callously wrong in their dealings with the IRA and it has now on the heads of their children. Much money dried up about 2 years ago after the McCartney murder / scandal. How much residual sympathy is there for the IRA and does funding still occur? see: http://funferal.org/mt-archive/000846.html
As your tag suggests Amos would have had no truck with them, methinks.

I could very well be wrong, but I always thought the IRA were kinda lackluster. I know Irish nationalist in the early 20th century were pretty strong, but when I think of the IRA, I think of a group more violent than ETA, but only slightly more successful. I know Chechens are supposed to be working with our enemies. That seems more scary than IRA folk. Of course, the disparity in casualties inflicted could be due to the superior security apparatus of the British compared to the Russians.

I think you are right in crediting the security forces with good intelligence vis the IRA. I wonder if the media toned things down on your side of the pond. There was no F.R. or Blogsphere then to put things to right.
I think that some of the stuff that went down was never widely reported. Remember also that they nearly destroyed the government of the day in the Blackpool bombing.

Consider the facts that you put in your previous post, that you connected with the words "I know"
If you "know" them via American media, take time to consider the source. IRA thugs have been documented to be 'instructors' in many places where local thugs want to upgrade their terrorist expertise. American special forces have been working to stop this 'outreach' and have had success in, for example, the Philippines and Colombia.
It is not part of the DBM playbook to dis the IRA.
We all have to teach ourselves to use a filter called "what are the DBM NOT telling us" whenever we "know" something these days.
